"Alla negativa recensioner i kommentarsfältet har verifierats. Vi väntade i flera timmar för att checka in. Rummet var gammalt, ohygieniskt och fuktigt, för att inte tala om att sängen var blöt. Jag kunde inte sova på en våt bomullsboll. Receptionen tjänsten attityd var särskilt dålig och kall. Klockan två på morgonen bad jag snabbt Ctrip kundtjänst om hjälp, och de hjälpte mig att återbetala rumspriset för de kommande två nätterna utan kostnad. Just nu är Ctrip vår backer! Nästa dag bad receptionen oss att checka ut så snart som möjligt vid 12-tiden och checka in vid 4-tiden. Vi sa ingenting, eller hur? Dessutom accepterar hotellet resegrupper, så de bryr sig inte om negativa recensioner från enskilda resenärer och ger sällan långa negativa recensioner. Denna vistelseupplevelse var mycket dålig. "Pros: The location is excellent, right by the North Square of Suzhou Station. The room is very spacious, a true 35 square meters, and the king-size room feels like a suite. It even has a washing machine with a dryer, a mini-fridge, and a bathtub. Great value for money. Cons: The facilities are a bit old. The bathroom is small and shows noticeable rust marks, and the walls have signs of aging. There's no air conditioning vent in the bedroom (or at least no air comes out, even though it looks like there is one). While the room temperature stays at 23 degrees Celsius, the lack of air circulation makes it feel a bit stuffy. Being close to the train station, it's a little noisy. There's no master light switch, so turning off all the lights individually is a bit inconvenient. Overall, it's very good value for money and recommended."

"Staying in the Cool River View King Room this time was truly an experience of 'a view right outside your window.' The room directly overlooks Suzhou's picturesque ancient moat, with shimmering waters and leisurely painted boats. The white walls and black tiles of the Jiangnan residential buildings on the opposite bank reflect beautifully in the water, each with its own charm from dawn to dusk – it felt like living inside a flowing ink wash painting. The facilities were equally impressive. The room's interior design blended modern simplicity with traditional Suzhou elements. The bedding was soft and comfortable against the skin, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area. Smart curtains and ambient lighting could be switched with a single touch, perfectly combining technology with a touch of local culture. Upon arrival, a delightful selection of fresh, seasonal welcome fruits was already in the room. Even more surprisingly, the entire minibar was complimentary, stocked with soft drinks and local specialty snacks – a truly thoughtful gesture. Whatever I needed, a quick WeChat message or phone call would get Vickey, the butler, to respond immediately and resolve it efficiently, always with a warm and friendly attitude, never feeling perfunctory. From the stunning moat views and the constantly available butler service to thoughtful details like the complimentary minibar and welcome fruits, Kimpton Suzhou Bamboo Grove truly demonstrates what it means to feel 'at home' through its excellent service. This will remain my only choice for my next visit to Suzhou. Many thanks to the dedicated butler team, and I look forward to seeing you again!"

"I don't usually stay in hotel apartments like this, but my experience was really good. The room was very new with a great view, you could even see the Gate of the Orient in the distance. There's a pool, but it was a bit crowded during the summer holidays. The best part is the direct access to the mall and the subway – such a lifesaver in the hot summer!"

"This hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Suzhou, right next to MixC World (you can access the mall directly from the hotel's basement level one). Parking is free on the hotel's designated area in basement level two, and it's less than 1km from Shantang Street. The hotel even offers a complimentary luxury car service within a 2km radius. From the moment we arrived, we were met with warm service. They helped us with our luggage all the way from check-in to our room. My daughter really wanted a Ritz-Carlton lion plushie, so I mentioned it to the front desk, and they kindly gave us one wearing a traditional Chinese jacket – she was thrilled! We booked a three-day, two-night package with executive lounge benefits, which included five meals a day (breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, and evening cocktails). For afternoon tea, we chose to have it delivered to our room instead of going to the executive lounge. The staff who brought it over also took the time to explain each pastry. The executive lounge dinner was quite extensive, with a special limited-edition dish each evening (one per person). Since this stay coincided with a birthday, the hotel upgraded us to a suite and provided a free extra bed. They also added some simple birthday decorations and a small cake. What's more, they customized a 'Happy Birthday' room key card for us, and the executive lounge even prepared birthday noodles in the evening. The turndown service included a local specialty embroidered fan and a silk eye mask. I must commend the Ritz-Carlton Suzhou staff for their meticulous, thoughtful, and incredibly attentive service. A special thank you to Edward Luo at the front desk for thoughtfully gifting the Ritz lion for the birthday, and to Kate for making us feel right at home. It was a fantastic stay. Our hotel experience was perfect, and we'll definitely choose the Ritz-Carlton again on our next visit to Suzhou."

Eftersom rummen är bosatta i en gammal byggnad är anläggningen inte avskuren av kantkvalitet: t.ex. är vattentrycket svagt och luften från A/C hade en viss lukt. Allt i allt var värdet bra för priset med den betydande rabatt jag hade den här gången genom Trip.com."

"This hotel is located on a pedestrian street, very close to the subway station – just a short walk after exiting. You step right out into a bustling area, and Shantang Street scenic area is also within walking distance, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The hotel is on the 4th floor of a shopping mall. The cleanliness and environment are good, and they offer smart butler service. The staff are also very warm and attentive. There's even a terrace where you can enjoy the view and take photos. The only slight drawback is that the room had a bit of a smell due to recent renovations. Overall, it offers good value for money."
