Everything was spotlessly clean, the facilities were excellent, and the room was comfortable and peaceful, ensuring a great night's sleep. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice and the perfect start to the day. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again and highly recommend Elmdene to anyone visiting the area."

Rummet var spottlöst och rymligt med allt som behövdes.Frukost var helt fantastisk! Valet av den kalla buffet var stort, de små och mäktiga yoghurtpottarna med frukt de har odlat (där de kan) var min personliga favorit, men det varma valet var där de var utmärkt! Den "fulla engelska" var smakfull och utmärkt kvalitet.Jag hade rökt lax och skrattade ägg, och var nog det bästa jag någonsin ätit!!Vi ville verkligen inte gå!Vi hoppas att gå tillbaka mycket snart."

"We recently stopped here for 4 nights & thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Raj the owner just couldn't do enough for you & he alone makes this place rate so highly. I would honestly give this place a 4.5/5 rather than the given 4, but I think it would be unfair to others that fully merit 5 stars. The hotel is so well situated - just a 5 minutes walk from the harbour. Parking could be a slight issue, but Raj fitted us in by the back door & we never had a problem. We had 2 single rooms, that were a bit small & lacked a view, but they were well equipped with good showers, toilet & complimentary toiletries plus tea, coffee, biscuits & water. The place was very clean. The bedding was excellent & we slept very well. Breakfast was lovely. Complimentary cereals, juices & fruit were followed by a good Full English. The coffee was to die for & Raj was often there chatting & re-filling my coffee well after breakfast should have ended!! Thanks to Raj for a great welcome & we hope to catch up with you again soon. "Fantastic 7 day stay. We had a very comfortable room with nice decor. There was a good choice of items for breakfast. Its just a short walk to the sea front , with bus stops close by which could take you to Paignton and Brixham or to Newton Abbot. Hosts Liz and Paul were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We ( Dave & Annette) would just like to say thank you for a very enjoyable relaxing stay."

"Var i Torquay i en vecka på en kristen konferens i flodcentret.Gästhuset var fem minuters promenad så bekvämt.Frukost var utmärkt med många kokta val. Det fanns också spannmål som jag aldrig klarade eftersom kocken var tillräckligt stor för att se mig till middagstid.Jonathan var en bra värd.Gästhuset var mycket ren och höll ett tecken på att ägarna tog stolthet i den tjänst de gav. Jag skulle definitivt rekommendera detta gästhus."

"I think this is our 6th year at The Sommerville and while Peter and Helen are running it will continue to return. While the weather wasn’t quite as hot as usual, everything else was spot on and Peter and Helen continue to spoil us with the best breakfasts, home made cakes daily , chats and drinks in the bar, and still recommending places for us to visit. This truly is a wonderful break for us. Thank you so much Peter and Helen, you are amazing."

Frukost var mycket trevlig med många val inklusive fullt engelska.Söta värdar som fick oss att känna oss mycket välkomna.Det finns bra parkering både på plats och på gatan.Acorn loge är också mycket nära järnvägsstationen för dem som reser med tåg. Tack för att du fick oss att känna oss så välkomna och för en underbar helg."
