"On September 9, I booked a room at IBIS Beaulieu, which redirected me to the booking platform. I paid by credit card for the night from October 1st to 2nd. Today, September 26th, IBIS Beaulieu called me and canceled my reservation, due to water damage. Refund? It's not their problem, I will receive a cancellation email via booking (still not received). Solution proposed by IBIS Beaulieu: none. A nearby hotel, the BRIT, which I have to call (IBIS can't do it, that's service, right?) is full. And the rooms are still available for reservation on the kayak and booking platforms, for that night, you can still book and PAY! Who are they kidding?? IBIS, "Don't expect anything from us"! Yuck"

B&B Hotel Chatellerault
"We stayed here for one night en-route to Portugal. Whether we were just unlucky with the room we were allocated, I'm not sure, but compared to other B&B Hotels we have stayed in, this one was disappointing. The room was extremely cramped, with limited access to the bed on one side and the other side of the bed didn't have a bedside table. The shower head would not sit in the cradle, which made showering difficult. Our room was at the end of the building, which meant that we were disturbed by the traffic noise. On the positive side, the car park is secure and well-lit and there is a small grassy area out the back for exercising your dogs. Having said that, I would stay here again, but would hope for a different room."

"Stayed here for 3 nights while visiting for a wedding. The b&b is absolutely beautiful! Stunning garden and the most comfy bed I have slept in for a very long time. It’s situated in a lovely part of the wonderful medieval town Montmorillion, it was so quiet at bed time I had the best sleep of my life. A short walk from all the touristy parts of towns with parking to the rear of the property. Yvonne and Richard made us feel very welcome. 5 Stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟"

"We were very friendly welcomed in this beautiful b&b. Very tastefully dressed. Very nice room with large bathroom with bath and shower and a separate toilet. It was very clean. A tasteful breakfast was ready for us in the morning. The only point is that the whole fun bed is a little bit on the narrow side, yet we have been sleeping a great time, and our car could be parked behind the door on our own terrain."
