"I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights during my 3-day trip to Weihai. I initially thought it was a small, boutique guesthouse, but later found out it actually has 48 rooms. It's located in Weihai's Xiaoshidao Scenic Area, right next to Huoju Bajie, with a beach nearby. It's a quiet retreat despite being in a popular area. I usually have high standards for accommodation and rarely stay in guesthouses, but I was generally quite satisfied with this one. Let's talk about the pros: the facilities are complete, with free snacks and drinks, good Wi-Fi, and a TV that supports screen mirroring. The bedding is comfortable, and the toiletries are the popular Anaya brand, which has a very soothing scent. The shower pressure is excellent, and the guesthouse is very quiet at night. The environment is absolutely beautiful, and the service is also great. They actively greet guests and help with luggage, and even drive you to the parking lot after check-out. If you have any issues, you can contact the butler via WeChat, and they respond promptly and are very accommodating. Now for the cons: the guesthouse's location is a double-edged sword. Getting in and out by car can be quite congested. There are hardly any good restaurants near the surrounding attractions, so you'll need to drive a few kilometers for meals. Breakfast can get crowded and a bit chaotic. The hotel's entertainment facilities are quite limited, with only a small pool suitable for children and a coffee bar. Overall, I was still very satisfied and would recommend it."

The staff were well-trained and polite, and the hotel facilities felt the same – just okay. The Northern City Hotel next door has the exact same hardware, but it feels like the entire hotel is really trying hard to improve the guest experience, with enthusiastic staff and a shuttle to the beach. Perhaps the Crowne Plaza targets business travelers and doesn't need to focus much on family tourists."

While the surrounding amenities weren't fully developed yet, it perfectly captured the secluded feeling I was looking for. The front desk service was warm and efficient; I avoided the crowds during the National Day holiday, so it wasn't noisy at all. The room was exquisitely designed, the bedding was very comfortable, and the bathroom had a well-designed separate shower and toilet. I especially praised the breakfast; the buffet was no longer available, so they switched to à la carte, which had a wide selection and suited my taste. The location near Na Xiang Hai makes it very convenient to drive to attractions. A unique and tasteful hotel, I would definitely choose to stay here again!"

"I absolutely have to give the Weihai Jinshatan Xuefu Hotel a five-star rating! My stay here far exceeded my expectations, with pleasant surprises from booking all the way to checkout. The location is simply unbeatable. The hotel is right next to Weihai International Bathing Beach, and it's a mere 3-minute walk to Jinshatan. You truly get 'ocean views from your window, and waves at your doorstep.' It's also conveniently close to Shandong University (Weihai Campus), creating a wonderful cultural atmosphere that perfectly blends seaside romance with academic tranquility. The room experience was flawless. We stayed in a high-floor sea-view king room, and the unobstructed 180-degree ocean view was breathtaking. We could watch the sunrise from bed in the morning and enjoy stunning ocean sunsets from our room in the evening. The room itself was modern and minimalist, spotlessly clean, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable – I slept soundly all night. The bathroom had a great dry/wet separation, excellent water pressure, and hot water came on instantly. Service was attentive and thoughtful. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient during check-in. The hotel even provided us with a tide schedule, which was incredibly useful for anyone planning to collect seashells or seafood. Housekeeping was quick to respond, and on a rainy day, they thoughtfully brought us ginger tea, which was a very warm touch. The value for money is outstanding. The sea-view room cost about half the price of surrounding five-star hotels, and they offer complimentary parking, charging stations, a laundry room, and a dryer. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, this is an excellent choice. I've already saved it and will definitely stay here again next time I visit Weihai!"
