"Short visit due to family bereavement. Lovely Shannon greeted me and had my room ready, in minutes. Amber sorted my WiFi, as am a complete technophobe and Amanda cooked tasty grazing combo. Lovely place. This is my third foray into Travelodge budget offering and so far, lovely staff, good refurbished rooms and nice little snacking dinners, though more substantial things on offer. Brill!"

"Lång kontroll i tid och mycket svårt att få ett håll med någon för några problem.Värmen fungerar inte!!! Vi har ringt telefonnummer för hjälp men ingen hämtar upp och ibland går till röstpost direkt. Inkvarteret är en separat byggnad, när du checkar in kommer du bara att få en bit papper som innehåller information för att komma åt byggnaden.Den kod som gavs oss fungerade inte!!! För att få hjälp måste du gå tillbaka till huvudbyggnaden som var på andra sidan och några minuter.Ingen tar upp om du ringer."

"I have stayed here for the last 20 years, but have not stayed since lock down. A few things have changed. I stayed here for the first time in a while and noticed the following. The nice home made biscuits in the room have gone, there are no biscuits at all. The glass of port in the room is no more. These were little touches which made it special. The room was cold, it used to be like a furnace, however at 4am the furnace came alive, they really need to sort this out, it was too much too late. I had my lead to charge my phone, but there are no usb charging ports, however I found one on the back of the tv, which only worked when the tv is on. I turned the tv down and faced it to the wall, and it worked perfectly. In a positive note I forgot toothpaste and the reception gave me a tube. Breakfast- I used to be impressed with the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, this is now an additional charge, but the included breakfast is still good, although one of the poached eggs was a bit under done. Andrew made everyone feel welcome at breakfast, the staff are still amazing, which were always the highlight of my previous reviews, Would I stay here again, yes, it is still the best hotel I town,"

"Lovely property room and cottage done to a very high standard extremely clean friendly welcome and accommodating. Cooked breakfast was outstanding all fresh and local produce property, only a ten minute walk from the coast and on the doorstep to the lake district would highly recommend."
