"The hotel is right next to the train station, a location that's both convenient and inconvenient. It's convenient because the train station is right outside, but inconvenient because the area is incredibly desolate with almost no businesses, and getting anywhere requires a long bus ride. However, it's very convenient for catching or transferring trains. The hotel corridors are a bit maze-like, but thankfully there are many signs, so you won't get lost. The rooms are standard business hotel fare, nothing special, but the price is cheap, making it good value for money."

"This is my second visit to Zunyi, and I stumbled upon the Phoenix Grand Hotel. After checking in, I realized it was indeed the most satisfying part of my trip! On the morning of our check-in, while we were still enjoying Chishui, the hotel called to confirm our itinerary. When we arrived in the afternoon, we decided to extend our stay for an extra night. Even though it was during the Qingming Festival, they still offered us a very favorable rate for the extended stay. Seeing that we had a child with us, they proactively arranged a room for us on the first floor. The hotel is located in Huichuan District, which I consider to be Zunyi's new urban area. Suzhou Road, with tons of great food options, is just a short walk downstairs. You can find many Zunyi specialties within a few steps, like Min Si, Yiguo Xian, Huagongchang Roast Chicken, and Laopopo Ice Slush... so many choices that we couldn't try them all in two days. Phoenix Mountain is right behind the hotel, and the Zunyi Conference Site is about four kilometers away. Taxis are readily available downstairs at all times, making transportation very convenient. Now, let's talk about what impressed us the most about the hotel. While other hotels only allow you to wash one or two items for a fee, Phoenix Grand Hotel offers free laundry services every day. Each room's laundry is washed in a separate machine, dried, folded, and returned to your room. This was incredibly thoughtful for us, as parents traveling with children, who worry about clothes not drying. We could also sleep in and enjoy a leisurely breakfast, as it's served until 12 PM. There's afternoon tea from 2 PM to 6 PM, and late-night snacks from 8 PM to 1 AM (rice noodles, noodles, rice skin, wontons, tangyuan, and congee – your choice). Oh, and upon check-in, there was a fruit platter in the room (mango, grapes, green dates, cherry tomatoes, bananas...). If you're driving, the front desk will even help you book a car wash right behind the hotel lobby. Just hand them your keys, and they'll even park your car back in the parking lot after it's washed. When we checked out, the front desk proactively asked how many children we had and thoughtfully provided us with several bottles of the hotel's special chrysanthemum tea to drink on our journey. In summary, the service is very attentive, and their responses are prompt. I highly recommend choosing this hotel when you visit Zunyi!"

I happened to be in Zunyi during Wu Ke-qun's concert and chose this modern Chinese-style hotel. The location is amazing! It's a 20-minute taxi ride to the Olympic Sports Center, making it super convenient to leisurely return to the hotel after the show! Transportation to the Zunyi Conference Site is also very convenient; it's just a few minutes' walk to the scenic area. There are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby, making it easy to visit historical sites and experience the old town's atmosphere. Prime location, worry-free travel and comfortable stay. The overall style is elegant modern Chinese, with wood furnishings and ink-wash painting aesthetics, understated yet sophisticated, perfect for taking photos. Although the window in my room couldn't be fully opened, this is typical for all hotels, even those with windows. The room reportedly has a fresh air filtration system, which was very effective, keeping the air fresh and dry 24 hours a day, without any feeling of confinement. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, the bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, and the soundproofing was excellent – I slept soundly until morning. The front desk staff were friendly, efficient, and responsive, providing attentive service. Excellent value for money, it combines Eastern charm with modern comfort, suitable for concerts, historical tourism, or leisure travel. The ventilation in the windowless room was superb, completely eliminating any concerns. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Zunyi – highly recommended!"

The parking lot also has plenty of spaces. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and not at all cramped. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring my elderly family members rested well. The open-air corridors offer expansive views, and it was wonderfully relaxing to enjoy the breeze and scenery in the evening. They even offered heartwarming congee at night, which was perfect for warming the stomach and very considerate for those returning late with kids. The self-service laundry room comes with independent dryers, which is a lifesaver for long trips when you need to dry clothes quickly – a real essential for families with children. The 'angelic' front desk staff were gentle and attentive, patiently answering all our questions and providing thoughtful service throughout our stay. The chocolate puppies were also adorable. The overall environment was quiet and serene, not noisy or chaotic, making it ideal for a family to relax and unwind. Everything, from hygiene and facilities to service, was impeccable, and it offered great value for money. The next time I bring my family to Zunyi, I'll definitely choose this place again. I highly recommend it to all friends traveling with kids or family!"
