1. Rook 316. Air conditioner not working. Remote screen broken and cannot see control panel. Couldn't change to another room as hotel was full. Had to sleep in room with fan only.
2. Fan didn't seem to work at first but staff managed to repair it. Working fan made loud noises.
3. No mirror in room.
4. One window faces inside of the house corridor the 2nd window is in toilet facing the outside.

1. Both staff at reception very friendly especially the night shift guy who helped to solve the air con and fan problem. Both are good in english.
2. TV has a few channels in English.
3. There is lift and room has the basic amenities.
4. Location is superb and a good local restaurant nearby.

Oavsett objektivt, är det ett kasino där nere, det är ganska tjockt, det finns verkligen ingen varmt badvatten, och faciliteterna är gamla, men poolen är mycket vacker, och poolens restaurang är också mycket söt, och det är inte lämpligt att bo med barn.

The breakfast was really good and delicious. The staff was very friendly just I wrote them in order to change the room but they didnt reply me so I advice they check the messages and reply timely. The bedroom with 1 queen bed was really nice. They didnt have many options for 2 twin beds altought it was clean. AC works very good. Is really well located in downtown area, there are several restaurants and bars just by walking distance.

Receptionspersonal är mycket hjälpsam och vänlig.Rummet är rymligt och rent.Det enda jag inte gillade är att vi måste gå upp trappan till tredje våningen för att komma in.Om du har mycket bagage kan det vara svårt.

GGästanvändareI had stayed here before the pandemic about 3 times. The property is very clean, it is located in the older ”colonial” part of the city. Traffic in this area is a nightmare due to the narrow streets. SAFE area, police presence all over.
The GOOD: Clean, Safe, Staff Friendly, plenty of places nearby to eat. Breakfast supplied is ample and of decent quality, food for linch or dinner in the hotel restaurant is good though limited menu, space for seating is very limited inside the restaurant, water pressure in the shower is excellent the room safe is large. The BAD: Room Small like an IBIS, Bathroom smaller than an IBIS, A/C in my room was ”marginal” at best and previous stays here noticed this, Elevator very slow, the worst part this is not a business hotel. While the Internet provided is decent, there is NO work space available at all in the rooms. NO electrical outlets available all are hidden behind furniture or the bed and no desk type area. Had to charge my phone in the bathroom outlet and use computer on battery. Also had a room phone and minor toilet issue which I reported twice and nothing was done. DO NOT have the hotel arrange for the hotel taxi to drive you to the airport cost is $50.oo ! Make your own arrangements or get an UBER. CONCLUSION: While on vacation for a couple of days this is a Nice place to stay and see the colonial sights and enjoy the atmosphere. However, ”on business” this is not the place to stay. I will be returning on business for a longer stay in late January or early February, unfortunately I will have to stay elsewhere.

GGästanvändareEl hotel es una casa tipo colonial muy bonita pero las habitaciones tienen bastante pocos detalles . Primero nos ofrecieron una en la planta de arriba pero vimos que no tenía armario o cajones y la colcha estaba bastante sucia así que pedimos cambiarla. No hubo ningún problema. Nos dieron una en la planta de abajo. Nos hizo algo de más gracia porque tenia la cama arriba, había que subir unas escaleras de madera. Veníamos cansadísimos del viaje y nos quedamos en esa pero la verdad es que lo de subir y bajar a la cama se hace incómodo, por supuesto tampoco tenía ningún tipo de armario o cajonera para poder guardar la ropa, Tampoco tenía ventana. Para que saliera agua medio templada había que dejar el agua correr un montón de tiempo. Luz muy fea que le daba una apariencia más cutre aún. Detalles 0 . En el baño no había lámpara estaba la bombilla sola. Agujeros en la pared que hacían de ventana interior pero sin terminar. En fin cutre.
El personal muy amable. Los desayunos estupendos y la ubicación muy buena , cerca de todo .

- Breakfast is simple but good enough: toast with cheese and ham, coffee and a boiled egg.
-Spacious and clean room, friendly staff, can refill drinking water.
-500m walking to the gate of the colonial area.
- Taxi stand is at the same street
- Nice, spacious outdoor, sitting area
- A personal fridge in the room
Cons:
-A bit noisy from the road/a bar until around midnight.
- Shower is not really hot (only slightly warm).

Antique building, interior, breakfast, service and help from employees: all this made the staying very pleasant and comfortable.
- the sink was leaking. The repairman came fast, however the problem appeared again after.
Suggestion: make available hot water during the day for the guests without a need to ask for it on reception.

I would like to, however give special thanks to Wesley at the front desk, he was very courteous and accommodating, especially that he speaks English well, we were able to communicate with ease and also the cleaning staff who always have a warm and pleasant look on their faces. One in particular name Molin.
