The location is in the busy night area of the city. You won't get bored because it is sorrounded by sports shops, botiques, spas, restaurants and street market. The hotel staff are friendly and accommodating. They gave us a bonus because the room we booked was without windows. But when we got there, they gave us a room with not only wide windows but with a view of the vibrant street outside. The room was new and spacious. The toilet and shower were clean. The beds were big and comfortable. My family and I had a good rest. The price was worth it. We would definitely book again next time.

Was welcomed by 2 friendly customer service personnel: Liu Rui and Feng Yan. Both are friendly, helpful and heart warming staff. Thanks for their recommendation.
Stayed in A29 room at ladies corner near toilet. Entry and electric, powered by card only. USB and C port charging points available.
Basic bedding: good enough for overnight transfer stay: pillow and blanket.
Hand towel size for bathing. Traveller toothbrush and ear plug is provided.
In-house slippers are provided, hence no shoes allowed in capsule as carpeted areas.
Guess due to space constraints, no luggage’s allowed in capsule areas, hence opening of luggage can only be performed in front of the counter the reception area.
Packed Light breakfast was provided but no hot beverages (2 Bread Buns, Tea Egg and Yoghurt Drink). However, mineral water bottle is complimentary.
Nice experience, however a bit noisy when other guests closing doors.

Ik was laat gearriveerd en moest een nummer bellen om in te checken. Ik denk dat de eigenaar mij heeft geholpen met inchecken, ik kreeg ook een veel beter kamer toegewezen. Alleen was het wel jammer dat mensen in de kamers roken dus blijf er een sterke rook geur hangen. Plus er was geen waterfilter om je fles te vullen had wel fijn gewezen en ik zag een grote kakkerlak in mijn kamer snachts omdat er een gleuf zit in de deuren. Er is wel een grote balkon gedeelte waar je kan zitten of je kleren ophangen als je in een van beter kamers zit.

Den nedre britsen var inte ljudisolerad och någon snarkade. Jag kunde höra människor snarka tydligt. Inomhusutrymmet var väldigt stängt och väldigt varmt. Det fanns ingen luftkonditionering och frånluftsfläkten var väldigt liten. Jag låg där i tre timmar och kunde' inte stanna längre. Jag frågade receptionen om jag kunde få en återbetalning till timpriset. Hon sa att det inte fanns några timrum här. Jag frågade. Jag kunde inte byta till en annan stuga, och de sa att om stugan var full, jag skulle inte få byta om. Det kostade mer än 200 yuan. Jag låg där i fyra timmar och var helt svettig efter att ha gått. Jag kommer inte att stanna där igen.

I arrived and at first couldn’t find the reception or someone to talk to you . But I rang a number and luckily the guy was on the same floor and knew a foreigner was coming. From then on 5 star service … was a comfortable and clean room with everything you need for a few nights .

We decided had a great time here at Xiamen although the hotel wasn’t the one we stayed at, I booked it because we were going to stay at the modern one shown at the pictures but we were taken to another one next door. This didn’t stopped us we still had a great time and the front desk was happy to help. Near a big temple and some markets and stores. Didi was easy to used and everyone seem very friendly and happy to help.

We were so impressed by the service of the hosts. The airport pick up & drop off were smooth and we didn’t need to wait long. The driver helped us to move all our luggages and even carried up some stairs to our room as my husband hurt his ankle. During drop-off to the airport, the driver came to us again to help carry our luggages down the stairs and to his van too. Appreciate it.
We love this home stay so much and wished to stay longer rather than just one night to catch our next flight.
The place was really clean and beds were very comfortable. Washing machine is available but no dryer so we didn’t get to use it.
There’s a beach nearby, around 8-10 mins walk on foot. Just turn right when you reach the main road and walk across it. This place is perfect for a flight transit stay.

GGästanvändareFrom my experience at 4 different accommodations in the Jinjiang/Quanzhou area, I have come to learn that the cleanliness (or rather, lack thereof) at this hotel is typical of this area at this price range. So I don’t want to make it sound worse than it deserves.
That said, the first thing I saw when I entered the room was a gross-looking tangle of hair on the floor. I sent a WeChat message to the person managing it, and to their credit they were very apologetic and sent someone to clean it up, which they did (I was gone at the time). When I got back, though, I was disappointed that although that particular tangle of hair had been cleaned up, the rest of the floor still had visible dust and who-knows-what on it. I ended up seeing a broom and dustpan in the hallway against another door, and I decided to briefly borrow it and quickly sweep my own floor so I didn’t have to feel like it was gross. After that it was ok.
Also, there was a sort of dank, unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom, which I believe is from the drain. The toilet is the kind that you are not supposed to flush toilet paper down (instead put it in the bin next to the toilet), so it’s also possible the smell was the result of that system after the previous occupant’s stay. There is a water problem in the bathroom such that when you take a shower, water ends up sitting in a kind of puddle on the floor near the sink, so it’s hard for the bathroom to ever be entirely dry, which no doubt also adds to the difficulty of keeping the bathroom smelling fresh.
The room itself was big and included a washing machine, which was very helpful! There was a little kitchen area and a kettle and such. Water bottles were supplied every day. The bed was comfortable and clean.
There was a sofa and a coffee table, and another sort of recliner seat near the window. Unfortunately the coffee table looked dirty (some sort of sticky residue on it) from the last occupant, so I didn’t want to put anything on it.
The location is right next to the Jinjiang airport, which is of course convenient for arriving or departing by plane. Checkin was done via WeChat - I just told them I had arrived, and they sent me a code for the door. There was no one at the front desk when I arrived, but I can’t say for sure that no one is ever there. Possibly if I had waited longer someone would have come, I don’t know.
For all the negative comments I had above, I want to repeat what I stated at the beginning - this level of cleanliness is apparently fairly normal for this price range in this area. I still think more effort could and should be put into making it a cleaner and more inviting space for customers, and things like the standing water problem in the bathroom should be fixed to prevent mold growth and such, but it’s also possible I just need to suck it up and spend more money on a better hotel room if I feel that my standard of cleanliness is so important.

DDaniel RodThe hotel is located fairly centrally in the island of Pingtan in a small village. Its exterior is nicely decorated with lights, and if you arrive late at night like we did, you’ll thank for that, as it shines like a beacon in a otherwise not very well lit street.
The service shone from the beginning. One of the staff was ready to help us with our luggage and show us in, and there was no delay with the registration of my passport (something that as any foreigner that has travelled in the Chinese Mainland will be able to tell, is not something to take for granted), and was immediately added to WeChat, where through the entire trip I was kept updated on everything relevant to us as guests, from the time breakfast was ready, to the fact that a guest with a dog was going to stay in a room next to ours (to which they offered to change if we needed in case any of us was scared or allergic to dogs). Breakfast was always kept warm for us, even when we were coming down late and were not expecting it to be there, and in general the staff’s attitude was always what you would expect in a bigger, more established (and more expensive) hotel, but with a home-stay twist.
The hotel is not very close to any scenic spot or touristic destination, but they offer a service of e-bike rental that we used through the trip, and that we’d recommend to anybody is staying here as it took transportation off the list of things we had to think about, and allowed us to fully take advantage of the central location of the inn. With 2 people per bike, going very far North, or South to the city (sometimes both in one trip), we never ran too close to empty our batteries.
The room was clean, big enough, and as we were staying on the last floor and our door opened to a patio, very well ventilated. The patio also proved to be a nice place to sit and chill or eat, and I was able to make work I had to finish feel less of a sore in the middle of my holidays. The only things I’d add or change to the room experience are a place to hang clothes (there wasn’t any closet or the sort), the toilet paper (they offered tissues but they don’t feel the same when you want to, you know, keep your hands clean), and real towels (they offer disposable towels, but they’re just not the same).
In conclusion, not only I would come back but I most certainly will, as I had an amazing trip and this inn played no small part in it. Would 100% recommend if you like less noisy, more home stay-ey atmosphere, and don’t mind to be a few minutes drive from the city.

GGästanvändareReally grateful for the free airport pickup. Added their number to my wechat and called them using wechat. Was given directions where to be picked up and asked to send a picture of how I look like. waited at the pickup point and even message them at exactly which location I'm at. Received a call later to ask where am I and also messaged me the car plate number. As the pickup point only allow 8mins of wait time, the driver was pretty pissed when I arrived. I mean, couldn't you have sent a picture of the car and the car plate number earlier?
Driver was smoking all the way while driving and I'm unfortunately seated behind him, breathing in all his smelly smoke. He opened his window but that didn't help, the wind has kept blowing the smoke into my face. Luckily it was a short drive. I feel that the hotel should educate their drivers not to smoke while driving. This is so selfish.
I got upgraded to a bigger room because they wanted me to give a good review. My room has a big window with the street view.
Room was clean and nice. Slippers given.
Toilet was badly designed. the shower head faces the toilet bowl and the sewage system is not good. After showering, the toilet flooded. I only realised the next morning that there are some buttons that you can switch on for ventilation in the toilet. The toilet was still flooded in the morning but I think if I have known about the buttons earlier, it would have been dried in the morning. The buttons are in chinese characters. Ask for help to decipher them.
The room has a projector but nothing was watchable. You need to have accounts to sign on to their various content provider.
The hotel is near a small street market with awesome and cheap food. There was also some supermarkets opened late into the night.
Cannot expect much from sound proofing as dead into the night, you can still hear food delivery rider delivering their food to occupants.
The driver in the morning did not smoke but when I told him that nobody asked me which terminal I'm going to, he insisted that it is impossible for them not to ask. I also cannot be bothered to argue. Why would I sabotage my own departure plans? Suggest that before the driver drives off, stressed which terminal you are going to. Terminal 3 for International flights, Terminal 4 for domestic flights. And they are not close to one another apparently.
Otherwise, the bed was quite comfy. The socket above the bedside table is almost falling off the wall.

GGästanvändareThe apartment is located inside a modern high rise building (with four elevators) in the middle of what appears to be a middle class neighborhood.
The building is within walking distance (I estimate 10-15 minutes tops) of the Fuzhou-South railway station. However. When me and my friend arrived there we decided to take a cab due to heavy rain - and we got yelled at because the driver was unhappy about the destination being so close to the railway station We yelled back and the driver apologized. We later realized that it would have been smarter to order a DiDi as cab drivers have to wait in line long time to get a railway customer and it is understandable that they want a customer who wants to go to the city center. Still. He had no right to yell at us. This is what the minimum fee is for.
Anyway. It is one of those high rise buildings that is built around a huge mall. Plenty of shops, drug stores, markets, restaurants (outside the mall) are within 5 minute radius. A mall entrance is within 3 minute walking distance. Very very convenient location. Not only so. Every day after 10:00pm there is a night market down the street where you can buy all sorts of delicious snacks even grilled oysters and steak.
Me and my friend had no issue locating the apartment because upon arriving at Fuzhou-South we got in touch with the owner. The owner then befriended me on WeChat, sent us the address, pictures of the entrance, description of how to open the main apartment door and the key lockers. Piece of cake. TBH I initially did not understand how to enter the code into the electronic door lock and so the owner came to assist. She was there within minutes after we asked for help.
The apartment is basically a bedroom with huge screen, beamer, queensize bed, workplace with sink, water cooker, washing machine, dining table and a nice, big fridge. Naturally you also have your own bathroom with sink, toilet and shower. Everything was very clean and me and my friend were super happy with our choice. I initially thought that the mattress was too firm but then I slept very well on it. You have to take a cab or DiDi to the city center but its not far so it is not expensive. The A/C works very well. The view from the 18th floor is amazing.
Would I stay there again? Given the good location, hygiene and price I would absolutely stay there again.

GGästanvändareI recently stayed at this homestay and had a wonderful experience. The home was very well preserved, and the service was excellent throughout our stay. We were also pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade, which made the experience even more special. One of the highlights was having tea with the owner’s parents and learning how the house had been carefully conserved and transformed into a homestay. It gave the stay a very personal and meaningful touch. I would definitely recommend this place and would be happy to come back again.

WWan SuwanThe apartment location is in good environment, going around with taxi is fair enough, however, the building itself doesn't exist on the map, only the neighbor one does, which made us difficult to find the right building when we first arrived, plus we have no idea that the check in room, is one of the room on the 5th floor, as in the address of the hotel, it just put room 501, 521 Gaolin Road, etc. I recommend to give more details to ease the check-in of the hotel description like, 'when arrive, please contact room 501 on the 5th floor to check in', also, the hotel should pin the exact building location on the map, otherwise, guests may get lost on first arrive like us, whereas people around don't speak English to help too.
The apartment itself is clean and in good condition with good space & layout. Facilities are good enough, except, the kitchen is kind of waste because there is no kitchenette at all, they only provide bottle water, glasses/paper cup & electric kettle in the kitchen, in which we expect a hotel apartment should have at least some kitchenette like tableware, cutlery, pot or pan (as they have electric stove) and at least a microwave oven & dishwashing liquid, which partly why we choose to stay in the apartment rather than normal hotel. This is one of the upset issues that we have for this stay.
The breakfast comes as McDonald's breakfast coupon consists of one small Berger & a drink, which is fine as McDonald is on the street level of the building itself.
Plus thing is that we can request for more bottle water & the disposable towel with no additional cost. Although the disposable towel is not so good to use as towel, they are still acceptable & hygienic, so, if you want more comfort, I suggest, bring your own towel. The washer works well, no dryer, but they provide hanger with drying space where there are windows open.
The nearest large shopping center, Wanda Plaza, is nearby, taxi costs only ~CNY10, where you can find lots of restaurants & Walmart, etc.
In overall, this property is good & worth of money.

BBaiMaWangziI traveled to Xiamen during the Chinese spring service with my dog and took a day trip to Kinmen Island, Taiwan, just off the coast.
This hotel was in fact an apartment building with several management companies renting out rooms on various floors. Overall the building was in a horrendous state of disrepair.
Initially, the front desk tried to put me into a room on the sixth floor which looked like a scene from a horror movie... Stains on floor, walls, dirt and garbage everywhere....I asked if this is the same room I booked and another female staff member moved me to the 9 th floor which was at least clean and updated, in the hall. The room was ok, and bed comfortable, but I've never stayed in a hotel that put sheets directly on the mattress without a minimal pad between... Luckily no bed bugs.
The room had 3 out of 8 working lightbulbs so it was very dark. The heater didn't warm up the room even at max level running all day.
Everything was old and dingy... Nothing like the photos
I had no TV or Internet service the first day until I asked for it to be repaired.
Overall, no maintenance is the problem.. But at least the woman at the front desk was helpful and kind
That only real redeeming quality of the room was the view... But the window was so dirty, it was mostly obscured.

However, it's a bit difficult to locate as it only has a small counter in building..
The rooms are decently clean though the view is building rooftop and the water basin tap is leaking, making the room a bit wet...
U may need to bring own towel if u r not used to disposable ones..
In conclusion, it's a decent room and yes, we will stay again n recommend this homestay to others..
