Hotell med 4-stjärniga i Taiwan, Kina

"Läget är inte direkt centralt i Ximending om du letar efter det, MEN det är 10 minuters promenad till Ximending om du är en långsam barnvagn som jag och jag tycker läget är fantastiskt. Det är inte bullrigt eller trångt och jag gillar hur man går mot Ximending och passerar den berömda Milk Donut-butiken. En god morgonpigga eller ett kvällsmellanmål när du går eller går tillbaka till hotellet. De ligger också mittemot floden där du kan ta morgon-/kvällsrunda som min bror gjorde. Kanske bara gå under högt bundet istället för lågt bundet, främst på grund av lukten av floden under lågt bundet. Rumsstorlek? Fantastiskt. Jag blev positivt överraskad av storleken på tvåbäddsrummet. Det hade mer än gott om plats att öppna två resväskor med mycket mer utrymme att dansa runt eller chilla eller bara lägga sina shoppingkassar. Ett riktigt bra utrymme. Till och med dörröppningen är stor med en enorm spegel. Jag älskar att rummet hade ett fönster som är tillräckligt stort för att se världen utanför. Mitt rum hade utsikt över floden. Riktigt vackert under solnedgångar. Jag blir väldigt klaustrofobisk och många hotell i Ximen har inga fönster så det här är extremt trevligt. Sängen var bekväm. Det finns en TV men förvänta dig inte Netflix eller något liknande. Det visar egentligen bara lokala kanaler. Toaletten ser lite gammal och daterad ut MEN den är ren. Den är rymlig. Toalettstolen har en bidé (STORT PLUS). Det finns en dusch/badkarssituation och vattnet är varmt och skönt när jag vill ha det när jag duschar så jag störde mig inte särskilt mycket på hur det såg ut. Åh! Handdukarna är fantastiska! Hela stället har, ärligt talat, gammaldags atmosfär men det är en av de bästa vistelserna jag har haft i Taipei sedan jag började komma hit för 6 år sedan. Dessutom väldigt bekvämt beläget om man åker Uber ofta, tycker jag. Sammantaget rekommenderar jag starkt detta hotell. Det var en trevlig överraskning. En trevlig vistelse. Kommer definitivt tillbaka!"

"The private hot spring and sauna experience was excellent. Being able to soak and then rest in our own room — alternating between bathing and relaxing — made it especially enjoyable. The room was not small and was perfectly adequate for two people. Ours even had a small window overlooking the library across the street. Beitou residents are truly fortunate — this place is simply beautiful. The breakfast was also delicious. Their curry was not the typical Japanese style, nor was it Indian; it seemed closer to a Southeast Asian style — I’m not entirely sure, but it was absolutely flavorful. If we return in the future, I would gladly stay here again. Each guest is entitled to one complimentary public bath session per day. However, since our room was so comfortable, we chose not to use it. It’s essentially just a larger communal pool."

"We had a wonderful stay at Royal Fine Hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, especially during our early checkout at around 5:30 a.m. They kindly carried our luggage and even called a taxi for us, which made the early morning departure so much smoother. The room itself was decent; clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed for a short stay. The location is also very convenient, just a few minutes' walk from the station. Plus, there are convenience stores, restaurants, and even spa and massage places nearby, which added to the overall ease and comfort of our trip. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a budget-friendly stay with great service and a prime location!"

"Having FX Hotel Taipei many times since 2014, and it’s been interesting to watch how the property has ”evolved” due to many poorer and overpriced competing hotels in the area of Taipei. Early on, there were noticeable shortcomings, but over the years the hotel holds its own as a strong contender in the mid-range category. The rooms are a real highlight—spacious, thoughtfully furnished, and far more practical than many competitors that lean on sparse, minimalist design. For business travelers or digital nomads, the setup makes remote work not just possible but genuinely doable. That said, there are still areas where FX falls short. Bathroom upkeep remains a recurring issue, with mildew and mold appearing across multiple rooms I’ve stayed in. More concerning, on my most recent stay I encountered two small cockroaches in the room, which I immediately reported to the front desk. This was the first time I’ve ever come across live cockroaches in a ********* hotel—something management should address with urgency. The laundry facilities are another letdown. While it’s convenient to have washers and dryers available for extended stays, the dryer is underpowered, taking nearly twice as long as a commercial-grade machine. In practice, it’s often more time-efficient to use a nearby laundromat instead. All that said, FX Hotel Taipei has become a dependable and comfortable choice in its price range. With spacious rooms, practical amenities, and solid value, it remains a good option for travelers. But with better attention to cleanliness and upgraded support facilities, it could raise its standing even further among Taipei’s mid-range hotels. Check-in reception now moved to 15th floor instead of lobby area."
