"We stayed in the hotel for one night, as part of a cycle tour through Puglia. The hotel room was decent and staff were friendly. The issue i had was that i left a kindle in the room when i checked out. I notified my tour guide who contacted the hotel immediately. The hotel claimed that an external company cleans the room and they could not get hold of them. After a day the hotel said they renumerate my loss. Having been back home for nearly 2 months, the hotel is not answering any of my communications. "

"This lovely, 17th century palazzo was our home for a week as part of a walking holiday. Every morning we walked down through the old city walls to our bus, parked outside in the modern town we never visited except to drive through. Our bedroom was one of the ones close to the stairwell, with a high, beautifully painted ceiling and enough room to have a party in it. The bed was comfortable and spotless, the bathroom spacious and well-equipped - but for one thing: I could have done with at least one other hook in the bathroom, as well as a chest of drawers in the bedroom. There isn't really enough room for the clothes of two people in the wardrobe. The breakfast in the Caravaggio room was lovely and the service friendly and obliging. We had a tiny balcony overlooking a side-street where the barber's shop just beneath entertained us with their enthusiastic conversations - and I'm not being sarcastic: we loved hearing them. I don't know how the temperature would be in high summer - our air-con unit was of an old-fashioned type which we liked because it didn't dry the air out as much as a modern one, but it wasn't particularly cold either. It was perfect in mid-September. Altamura doesn't have many foreign tourists as yet - we were made to feel extremely welcome in the shops and in the restaurant we ate in. All in all, I loved the hotel, the ambience, the feeling of being in the heart of a historic Italian town."

"Extremt rena, bekväma, smakfullt inredda rum. Elektriska hushållsapparater, kylskåp, ugn, mikrovågsugn, ugnspressade maskiner, allt nytt och perfekt fungerande. Utrymmet för uppvärmning/konditionering fungerar och är fullt effektivt. B&B ligger nära det historiska centrum som kan nås genom en trevlig promenad. Förvaltaren är en person med extrem vänlighet och omsorg för att tillgodose eventuella och möjliga behov hos gästen. Det finns allt som krävs för att bo på ett trevligt och tråkigt sätt."
