"Underbar vistelse i slottet Brindos. Rumet var mycket vacker och bekväm, dekorationen är verkligen vård. Vi har kunnat njuta av spa som är ingår i bokningen av rummet och platsen är underbar. Vi hade lite kall i spaen. Slutligen kommer vi att återvända utan att tveka."

"I discovered the hotel 10 years ago and used to come for the thalasso. Second time i come with the family to have some rest in their spa …very disappointed because it is NOT possible any more to relax. Every hour there is an aqua gym for the people NOT from the hotel …so you CAN NOT be quiet and USE the POOL. Loud music, screaming and too much people. Don’t go there if you want to relax in the spa … The cleaning service was not good enough (human’s and dog’s hairs). I asked the cleaning lady to wait until I will dress up and continue her cleaning she left and never come back. Restaurant has a beautiful view. Not so many dishes, but tasty . "

"A wonderful hotel, a little out of the center, but right next to a bus stop. A calm, relaxing atmosphere. Good breakfasts, a pleasant restaurant. There's a pool and sauna (basic, but great for the price). The room was beautiful and clean, and we had a wonderful time. The only minor downside was that we weren't greeted on our birthday. Hotels with good service usually point out such moments; it's a sign of their service."

"Friendly welcome, comfortable bed and pillows and excellent shower. Room was ready at 11.30am when we arrived. Good choice at breakfast - we paid €12,80 each on the day, which was good value for the selection. The downside was the renovations, which we were not told about in advance. It did not disturb our sleep but there was noise from drilling etc and the flooring was not stable. Also the ceiling of the room was patterned black and white which did feel strange when lying in bed! There were also roadworks outside the hotel due to finish 18th April. This hotel is a distance from the centre and the beach. We walked in, which took 45 mins to La Grande Plage and 1 hour to Plage de la Chambre D'Amour. We got a bus back, Line 3 drops you just outside the hotel (Lavigne stop) and Line 11 (7 Puits stop) is about a 10 min walk to the hotel. From the airport, catch the Line 3 bus, google maps shows you can walk it (20 mins) but we did not see any pavement and it is a busy road. Uber is available in Biarritz but it is very expensive. We loved Biarritz, it is very like Newquay. Would recommend visiting the Plage Chambre D'Amour side, there are lots of beach bars/restaurants with a surfer vibe."

"Ett stort par hotell... hela slottet som ser sjön är drömvärt. Pool och däck är gjorda för att slappna av.Tjänsten är ganska mycket anpassad till en relä och chateaux pedigree.Middag var inte på nivån av menyn’s beskrivning eller med priset. Jag skulle inte gå dit bara för att frukost på andra sidan var mycket bra."

"Maison Chiberta had very lovely staff! They were doing an exceptional job in the heat!! Our room was stylish but lacked storage, but very lovely and clean and that’s probably our fault for booking a small room. The breakfast wasn’t fantastic and there were a lot of flies around the food all morning, no fly nets were used by the hotel for some reason. It feels like some of the hotel eg. The rooms, has been renovated to a very high standard. But then other areas were completely lacking. No AC or fans in communal areas and the gym for example was very hot and the floor wasn’t grippy so it was very slippy in there. I’m not sure we would stay again but we did love the area with our car. I would realistically say it is a 3 star hotel with 4 star potential."
