Hela stan är fascinerande.Personalen var mycket vänlig och hjälpsam.Vi träffade ägarna som var nöjda och vänliga.Maten var underbar."

"The Jazz Hotel is a cheaply furnished hotel in a central location in Ascona. The rooms are cheaply furnished and soundproof. We booked through a reputable booking platform. For a full week's stay, we were given the worst and noisiest room in the hotel, right next to reception with loud music and opposite the breakfast room and a freely accessible coffee machine. This meant no sleeping in and no privacy. We therefore asked for a quieter room. For an additional charge of CHF 250 (!), we were able to move into the same cheaply furnished, small room on a different floor. I'm unclear as to why we were charged this extra fee; it was supposedly an upgrade. The bathroom is old and very small, so you often end up hitting yourself. The shower was very small and calcified. The breakfast room has the ambiance of a train station waiting room. The breakfast is straightforward and always the same, served carelessly with lots of ready-made products. There wasn't fresh bread, rolls, or croissants every day, and stale sausage, cheese, and Bircher muesli were offered every day. Conversation in the breakfast room was almost impossible due to the noisy refrigerated counter. This was by far the worst place I've ever spent my time in, and the price was definitely not cheap. Never again."

"Highly recommend this hotel. The owners are super friendly and do everything they can to accommodate guests needs. The rooms are spacious with natural sunlight. Everything is very clean. The breakfast buffet is very good. Beautiful garden with trampoline for the kids. Relaxing terrace to wind down with a drink. Loved everything about this place."

"Hotell att rekommendera. Idyllisk plats med utsikt över sjön Major. Ett otrevligt rum med utsikt över sjön, enastående pool med butiker och badrum, pool bar service, en liten buss från hotellet gratis att gå till Ascona. Alla måltider är läckra, väl presenterade och kvällsmat serveras på bordet av en personal med en grupp som är uppmärksam på dina önskemål. Sauna och hamam är mycket rena och rymliga med klänningar och stort vilorum. Jag vill särskilt nämna mr Priolo för hans massage som lindrar bland annat ryggsmärtor."

"I really enjoyed my entire stay from arrival to departure. Although the hotel was partially renovated, I didn't miss anything and I really enjoyed learning how sustainability is practiced in the hotel. The art butler with Maddalena Mora was an absolute highlight and I will definitely come back so that I can also do the outdoor butler activities with Cyril Oehrli. The hotel is an experience and the offers and staff are top notch. Many thanks to the entire team at the Hotel Eden Roc."
