"Located near one of the entrances to the old part of the city, the room was comfortable and quite spacious. The mattress was excellent, but unfortunately there was only one pillow per person. Hotels usually have at least two pillows. There was a built-in closet with shelves and a wardrobe compartment. In the shower, the shampoo and shower gel were in packets and there was no soap. Interestingly, we were given one set of soap and towels for two people. The hotel has a laundry service. Washing costs 3 euros, drying 2 euros. The finale is essentially empty, but it's there. The breakfast was surprisingly varied. Four types of cheese, stewed vegetables, and cold cuts. The hotel accepts cards and cash. If paying with cash, make sure you have the exact amount and no change."

"This is a really lovely place: a working cherry farm, a little way outside Avignon. You do need a car. The building is old (18thC?) and our room was large and thoughtfully appointed. It included a fridge and air-conditioning. And a wonderful, high ceiling with exposed beams. It had a double aspect and we could see over the grounds. These include two swimming pools, one of which is glorious with a basking area. It was jolly hot, so we appreciated this. The breakfast was very good and varied with a choice of breads and pastries, ace yoghurt, cheeses, home made jams, fruit etc. You could stay some time and not get bored of it. Also - and we weren’t aware of this - there’s a whole range of beers and wines to drink on the delightful terrace plus you can get a plate of cheese or meats and there seems to be another dish available. Had we stayed longer, we’d have tried more than a couple of beers. The couple who run it are very helpful and pleasant too. It’s a lovely place to stay. And could be a centre from which to explore the whole area, not just Avignon."

"This is a wonderful family operated boutique hotel. We stayed with my elderly parents who could have the courtyard level room (no stairs) and we had the top room inside part of the bell tower. The rooms are all different and have real personality and are super comfortable. Great quality pillows and bedding and Air con. Patrick who manages the hotel was super helpful providing restaurant suggestions and taxis etc. The cherry on top is the breakfast. It is served at an agreed time as it’s a small kitchen, and all locally made and plentiful. Patrick serves us Fresh fruits, yogurt, warm quiches, baguettes, croissants and jams. It’s a luxurious feast. No dreadful breakfast buffet here! Avignon exceeded our expectations in every way and staying here was a huge part of the experience."
