"I am writing this review strictly to warn every traveller planning to visit Ayodhya. Hotel Golden Ramayana Elite, near Ram Temple, operated by Forever Hospitality, is running what appears to be a deliberate scam targeting tourists. We booked this hotel and were immediately asked to pay ₹2,000 in advance to "confirm" our booking. We paid in good faith. However, on the day of our arrival, instead of a proper hotel address, the management sent us a vague WhatsApp location and instructed us to "reach there and call." When we arrived at the given location, we found ourselves standing outside a completely different, substandard, cheap hotel — nothing like Hotel Golden Ramayana Elite that was advertised to us. When we confronted the representative, he began making false excuses, claiming it was "the same hotel but the name had changed." This was an outright lie. The property, quality, and everything about it was completely different from what was shown and promised at the time of booking. We demanded a refund. He assured us of a full refund and asked us to raise a cancellation request. We did exactly that. He never approved it. When we sent him proof of the cancellation request, he asked for our bank account number for the refund — and the moment he had it, he went completely silent. He stopped answering our calls and stopped responding to our messages entirely. Hotel Golden Ramayana Elite (Forever Hospitality) took our advance payment, redirected us to a fake inferior property, made false promises of a refund, collected our bank details, and then disappeared. This is NOT poor hospitality — this is targeted fraud against pilgrims and tourists visiting Ayodhya's Ram Temple. I urge every traveller to AVOID this hotel completely."
