"Best location at the end of the main road. The dining room is gorgeous and rooms are very nice. We stayed at the building across the street. Very good service. Bakewell is an idyllic village with shops and minutes from rolling hills in Peak district."

"We stayed for a couple of nights, and found this perfect for our needs. A relatively small hotel but nice spacious rooms with decent facilities. Comfortable bed and armchairs, and a generally quiet spot. (We were on the top floor). Only downside was a large TV which relied on a small internal aerial, which doesn't make for great reception with digital TV. Far from a deal breaker for us but worth knowing."
