However, the front desk service during check-in was substandard. It was raining heavily when I arrived, and the staff just stared blankly, not knowing to offer an umbrella or help guests check-in. This is something that would never happen at any other hotel. I rarely give bad reviews when staying at hotels, but Bama Health and Wellness Community left such a poor first impression on guests. "When I booked a room on Ctrip, I was attracted by the reviews and chose this B&B. After passing a few hundred meters of dirt road and a big downhill, I felt like I had arrived at a new world. I could see that the courtyard was carefully decorated and was in harmony with the environment outside the B&B. Far from it. The hostess of the B&B is very enthusiastic and has a smile on her face. Although the hotel facilities are simple, they have everything you need and are very clean. The B&B is right on the shore of Cifu Lake, with a beautiful environment. The photos were taken from my room on the fourth floor. If you want to find a quiet place to stay away from the hustle and bustle for a few days, this would be a good choice."

"Our group of Hunan friends, all in our sixties and seventies, traveled all the way to Bama. We did some research online beforehand and chose Fengyuqiao Inn, which had the highest ratings. Our stay far exceeded our expectations – we weren't disappointed at all! The owner and the young lady at the front desk were incredibly warm and thoughtful, constantly going above and beyond to look after us. The guesthouse thoughtfully provides a communal kitchen, so we could buy groceries and cook our own meals, saving money and ensuring the food suited our tastes. There are also tables and chairs on the outdoor corridor, perfect for relaxing, chatting, and enjoying the breeze during meals. The guesthouse has an elegant Chinese wooden cabin style, with a tranquil and refined atmosphere. Our rooms were spotlessly clean, and all the amenities were comprehensive. After a long journey, we had accumulated a lot of laundry. The guesthouse's laundry room is equipped with multiple washing machines and dryers, allowing us to wash and dry all our clothes in one go – this solved the biggest challenge for us older travelers. Parking was also very convenient, with free parking spaces both in front and behind the guesthouse. From our room windows, we could see the natural forests of Mujishan, with lush greenery and fresh air rich in negative oxygen ions. We slept soundly and peacefully every night, waking up refreshed. We highly recommend this guesthouse for anyone traveling to Bama or visiting with friends!"
