From the nature walks, grounding, reflective and creative activities, everything about the environment encouraged rest and reflection, making it the perfect escape from the busyness of everyday life. The atmosphere was calm and beautifully curated, allowing me to fully unwind and reconnect. A special mention must go to Jean, who was simply amazing. She created such a welcoming and peaceful space where it felt natural to relax, reflect, and bond. Her presence and care made the experience even more meaningful, and it’s clear she puts her heart into what she does. I left feeling refreshed, grounded, and grateful for the experience. ". Beautiful, peaceful, tranquil, well maintained property. Walks and hikes. We stayed self-catering and also enjoyed excellent service,food on occasion in hotel, including a surprise birthday cake. Visited the rehabilitation centre for birds of prey. Not far away is the quaint town of Dullstroom, Beer,coffee brewed at same place! Dullstroom parkrun was a challenge"

Rocky Drift Private Nature Reserve

"Vi blev verkligen förvånade när Cheryl erbjöd oss chalet vid floden med träet som brändes jacuzzi, även om vi bokade in på Owl Cottage.Vårt val sa hon. Det var en mycket vänlig gest som resulterade i nya livskrafter som vi kunde lägga till i vår fågellista.Cheryl tog också speciella svårigheter att ge oss information om de blåboschkraal stenruiner från Bokoni-folket. Ruiner som går tillbaka till 1600-talet som vi gick för att se.Ett mycket speciellt ställe.Under nästa besök skulle vi vilja se Adam s kalender som också är i det området.Vi njöt av Otter Loop-svängningen och också en del av den längre Cappi Falls-svängningen. Ett fallet träd blockerade resten av spåret på grund av stormen i området för en vecka sedan.Det var så speciellt att se klart vatten i Joubertspruit komma rakt från berget.Rocky Drift är en speciell plats. Låt det stanna så länge.Tack Cheryl och Hans."

"Vi tillbringar fyra nätter med min familj.Vägar som leder till platsen är inte bra alls.Men utsikterna från porten till receptionen är spektakulära.Check in var snabb.Vi bokade på hästdjuret som är lite långt från receptionen. Vår två sovrumsvilla var stor nog.Vi använde 1818-restaurang mest.Vi brydde oss till och med i går kväll.Det finns aktiviteter att göra inom fastigheten, inklusive flygfiske.Vi besökte Highland Gate Golf och Trout Estate. Vi gick också till Milly's Farmshall och restaurang.Det är fredligt och tyst.Jag skulle definitivt gå tillbaka."

"What a wonderful getaway! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm, friendly, and incredibly inviting. Even though we only stayed for two nights, it honestly felt like we had enjoyed a full week’s holiday. The staff were exceptionally helpful throughout our stay, and it was clear that guest experience is a top priority. Stuart, the General Manager, was visible, attentive, and genuinely involved in ensuring everyone was comfortable and well looked after. The food was absolutely lovely — we can highly recommend both the mussels and the steak! The spa was another highlight, offering amazing treatments, excellent service, and very reasonable pricing. This is truly the perfect place to relax, unwind, and completely switch off. We would love to return again, especially with our children. We’ve previously visited another one of the group’s properties, Midlands Saddle and Trout, which we also loved and hope to visit again — but Kloppenheim Country Estate is honestly on another level. Thank you for spoiling us with such a fantastic weekend away!"
