"The hotel is very nice, the staff is very attentive, and the food is very good and reasonably priced. It's located about 300 meters from Durango's old town. It's an older hotel that could use a bit more maintenance. The spa costs €18 per person and is shared with gym members. Parking is also extra and costs €15 per night. It's ideal for exploring the fishing villages along the Cantabrian coast and having dinner in Vittoria (the prettiest town in the area)."

"This was such a memorable place to stay!. And we just loved Getxo!!. I cant wait to come back here. Tge staff are attentive and service is exceptional!. We lived our roomwith a balcony and view of the harbor. This has been our favorite part if Spain . The hotel is exceptional. I was bummed tgat the restaurant is closed the days we are here as i am sure it is excellrnt, another good reason to return. The hotel is a castle renovated and very central with easy access to Getxo and Bilbao transit via metro. Great walking here too. Higgly recommend!!"

"This is a comfortable hotel. The staff are helpful. The rooms are modern,ours had a comfy bed and a fridge. The spa was pricey and the spa pool had to be booked 1hour for €22 each adult. I’ve stayed in spa hotels before and the pool part /sauna have been free to use for hotel guests. The breakfast was the usual buffet style and ok. They’re only 2 restaurants/bars for food open in this town and a few drinking bars. It was October so maybe more are open in the summer. The hotel does snacks at lunchtime but no evening meals."
