"Vi hade en tre nätters vistelse och i allmänhet njöt av vår tid på hotellet.Rummen var tjusiga och väl underhållna, även om lite litet.Det fanns bara en kopp te, men med tanke på priset, erbjöd den ett bra värde för pengarna. Platsen är utmärkt mycket nära stranden, med en kort väg direkt framför hotellet som tar mindre än fem minuter att nå stranden. Det är också inom gångavstånd till staden och det finns en vacker park precis över piren, som vi verkligen uppskattade. Frukost var bra, även om det var samma varje dag.Vi stannade i ett familjerum som var mycket ren och tidig, men det saknades utrymme för att sitta det fanns bara en stol, vilket var lite obekväm för oss som familj. Bortsett från det var vi glada över vår vistelse.Platsen och renheten gjorde det en trevlig upplevelse, och vi skulle överväga att återvända i framtiden."

"Once again exceptional customer service from Laurent for the breakfast, he does an excellent job in topping it all up at all times, Laurent always goes that extra mile to assist anyone and has a really great sense of humour, the hotel is privileged and honoured to have such an effervescent and jubilant colleague. It’s my fourth time at this hotel and the breakfast is always perfect especially the delicious mushrooms and the black pudding is cooked just right. I do like the crumpets as well. For room 404 the air conditioning didn’t work but we did get two large fans and kept the window open so it wasn’t too hot at night to sleep very well. The room was very quiet as at the back so no traffic noise and no gulls. For all the time there I didn’t hear anyone complaining and everyone looked very happy at the hotel. I also received excellent service from everyone at the reception desk who always are positive and supportive. My room was spotless and very clean with no issues or problems. The beach is a short walk away down the zig zag footpath or the steps down to the beach. I can recommend the bus to Christchurch then a ferry to Mudeford Beach then walk back to Bournemouth going past the historic area of Hengistbury Head. There is additional free parking on Clarendon Road and a NCP on Durley Chime Road at £6 per 24 hours if the hotel car park is full up. Or the multi storey at Glenfern Road then a taxi for £6 to the hotel. For a meal out there’s the very popular Chez Fred’s fish and chip restaurant and takeaway, (Get there very early as there’s always a long queue outside waiting for a vacant table, the chips are unlimited and so is a pot of tea)Nusara Thai, and The White Elephant Thai restaurant and a plethora of cafés, pubs and restaurants to choose from in Westbourne. Fireaway Pizzeria does excellent pizzas, a delicious crust and a meal deal with a side dish and a drink. For the open top bus to Swanage it’s advisable to get on it at the railway station as it’s full up when it arrives at the town centre. The bus then takes the chain ferry to Studland Bay. To come back a different way from Swanage take the bus that goes to Corfe Castle/Wareham that ends in Poole bus station then a bus to Bournemouth. A pizza restaurant 5 minutes walk from the hotel. There’s a Co-Op (Costa coffee machine)5 minutes from the hotel that opens daily from 07.00 am or a Premier store open at 06.30 am."

Little Robin Gate

"I had such a lovely stay at Little Robin Gate. It was within easy walking distance from the train station and David and Pumpkin communicated with me well prior to my stay. On arriving I was met by Pumpkin and David and shown my room. Both were friendly and full of energy and made me feel very welcome. The room was spacious and clean and the little details that David and Pumpkin go to made me feel very special. I had a little note and biscuits to welcome me and banana bread on my return the second night. I had all I needed in my room from all the toiletries to tea and coffee making facilities and water. The bed was so comfortable and the pillows and duvet were so soft. I slept soundly on both nights. The house and garden are beautiful and so peaceful. I will definitely be staying again in the future ."

"We had a brilliant wecombe very clean room done side I am a diabetic so could only eat the cheese and brown bread for breakfast also coffee selection not that strong so went out everything for coffee and cheese snd ham for the contents breakfast but a wonderful location easy reach of restaurants and beach could do with water in room also a fridge as my wife has yo have a inhaler so needs fridge to keep it cool but a wonderful place "

"We arrived at the hotel a little earlier than expected and were warmly greeted by our host Harps. We were shown to our lovely size room with a huge and comfortable bed. Plentiful welcome tray and a nice touch was chocolates 🍫 Good quality toiletries, lovely fluffy white towels. The whole of the hotel was very clean and comfortable lounge bar for the evening. The cooked breakfast was amazing with excellent quality food and was the best breakfast we’ve had anywhere. Harps and her staff were all very attentive and couldn’t be more helpful, nothing being too much trouble. We arrived as guests and left as friends. Highly recommended and the bus stop is close by too."
