Motel 6 Brooks, AB ★★

"This hotel is conveniently located right off the highway, making it perfect for a stopover during a road trip. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and despite being on a main road, it's surprisingly quiet. There's a Ricky's restaurant right at the hotel entrance, and several other shops and restaurants nearby, which is very convenient."

Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Brooks ★★

"Hotellet är rent, byggnaden är bra.Men receptionisten är hemsk när jag checkade ut, hon ville bara inte betala en sekund till för att hjälpa till att återlämna kortet och skriva ut receptet, svårt att tro på en sådan inställning i ett hotell."

"We stayed 1 night here in June. As we walked in there was an awful smell that we put down to the toilets opposite reception. However, the smell was far worse on the upstairs landing. When mentioned to staff, they said they couldn't smell it (maybe immune to it?) and said it could be from a nearby meat processing factory. You couldnt smell it outside. The ammonia smell was so bad, one of our party asked to be moved at 1.30am as she couldn't bare the smell in her room. She was moved to the 'corporate' building that had no smell and was much nicer than the older building. This building seemed to be run separately and had a pool that the older building guests couldn't use. Not clear on their website that there are two separate accommodations. The smell on the upstairs landing was dreadful when we left the following morning."
