Seaview Hotel

"Great location. We had a Seaview Suite and the views were incredible, the same can be said for the rooftop pool and first floor breakfast seating. All of the hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. The food was brilliant at both the breakfast and rooftop pool with a good variety of meals and snacks. The rooms were very clean and always made up lovely each day by housekeeping. Do note that the double beds and king beds are just two mattresses tucked together so you may find it mildly irritating if you move around the bed during the night. This hotel was brilliant in terms of the value for money and what you get in return. Unfortunately there are a few minor downsides. The sound of loud music from the bar nine lives across the road and loud cars flying up and down cannot be overlooked, particularly if you are on lower floors and towards the front of the hotel it is very loud in the rooms up until around 11pm, while this aspect is mostly out of the control of the hotel, some better sealing for the balcony doors and perhaps better soundproofing glass on the doors would definitely go a long way. Reading some other reviews it is clear this is a big issue for a lot of people so do take this into consideration before booking. Lastly, the music at the rooftop pool during the day (not the live music in the evenings) HAS TO GO, it consists of about 10 songs which frankly all sound the same due to it being written and sang by AI, most of the time I had to wear noise cancelling headphones to stop the sound, even then I still hear her in my sleep."
