"Hotel was located farther from the train station than i expected, and was on a seemingly quiet street. wasn't quite the case as a regular stream of loud people walking and chattering late into the night could be heard in the room. very hot season so windows had to be kept wide open as sweating inside. There was one instance of ringing of bells for like 15 min non-stop on a Sun night, not sure why. Fortunately not repeated while there, the hourly ones were short. Has to be said this was the best price I could find within the vicinity, room and toilet facilities were basic but decent. Be warned though, other than shops in the train station, absolutely nothing was open on Sunday including restaurants. Not an exciting town to see either. Bring instant noodles if you must stay....."

"View looking towards carpark but not too bad. Also it has a cosy environment. Would love to stay here again the next time I visit! Free chocolates when checking in & checking out… sooo sweet!"

"Hotel Franziskaner has the best location in the Chur old town, where is just 10 minutes walk (flat roads) from Chur Train Station which is adjacent to the Bus Station. Bus ride only takes 2 stops to the outside of the hotel. The Hotel staff gave us a Chur pass for public transportation and also some advice of where to visit. We love the breakfast. Coffee is good. Hotel staff were friendly. The window of our hotel room has good views of the old town. However, the hotel does not have an elevator and you need to carry your luggage up to your floor. My hotel room only has 2 power outlets under the bedside tables and you need to kneel down to plug in your phone for charging."

"The location was further then anticipated. The room was exactly the same as shown in the ads. Though yhe room we had selected was tiny, it was clean and the attached bathroom was big However, the glass panel sitting on top of the side of bathtub isn't fixed, making getting in and out of the tub unsafe, as the glass panel is the only element that one could hold on to in order to step out of the tub. The receptionists weren't too interested in attenting to hotel guests. But, overall experience was elevated due to its design/structure uniqueness; an ex-jail building. It's communal kitchen and lounge space were great space where we'd spent some of our time. There were also a lot of common shower rooms and WCs within the building, which was great as the 4 of us needn't queue for the washroom especially in the early morning."

"Allt var bra, men deras frukosttid indianer på 30:e maj var mycket brutal.Hon beordrade mig som en chef med dålig hand att ta handväskan till stationen där jag bara stod upp efter att jag hade avslutat frukost. Det var inte acceptabelt och mycket obehagligt för mig.Jag rekommenderar inte att man ska äta frukost på detta hotell på grund av deras brutala indiska tjej."

"Hotel was nice but overpriced and a pain to get into. After checking in we had to drive back around to get into the garage. I understand this design is probably not the hotel’s design but it still stinks. I cannot comment on the breakfast because we opted not to pay the overpriced $25 per person. This hotel would probably be very nice if you have activities in the area, but for the casual traveler like me, it is too much money for what you get."

"Stor litet hotell.Nyligen renoverat med en hiss (lift) och färsk dekoration.Mycket bekväma rum, stora sängar och sängar och utmärkt suite.Fast tyst plats även i hjärtat av staden och omgiven av gamla stadsutsikter. Hundratals restauranger i närheten.God buffé frukost av vanlig europeisk sort.Hjälplig, vänlig personal.Kylskåp och kaffebryggare i rummet (ingen matlagning tillåts).Allmänt bra upplevelse.Jag skulle definitivt stanna igen och rekommendera mycket."

"Hotel liegt neben der Autobahn Ausfahrt, Zimmer ist ok wenig Platz, schmales Badezimmer, keinen Kühlschrank,ohne minibar. Restaurant is durchschnittlich, Auswahl ziemlich System Küche überteuert. Frühstück sparsam wenig Auswahl, für den Zimmer Preis. Parkplatz ok ."

"It’s just 3 mins walk from Altstadt station (request to stop station), and close to old town. Spacious room, I like the breakfast very much, Bio food, self-boiling eggs, etc"

"Hotel near the train station about 5 mins walk. Room is clean as well. Stayed here for the Glacier Express the next day. Convenient and definitely recommended!"
