Welcome to Valley View!Valley View is a charming, rustic oasis in the heart of Concan just minutes from the Frio River. When you arrive you will see the expansive front porch offering amazing hill country views as well as deer and bird watching. You will not want to miss the sunsets from your new favorite spot! Walking through the door will feel like entering a cozy mountain lodge complete with a custom stone fireplace and rustic charm throughout. Concrete floors, ceiling fans and ambient lighting are in every room. Beautiful cedar walls, granite counter tops and Texas style decor are welcoming and will make you feel at home. Valley View offers plenty of seating with a large bar, breakfast/game table and a rustic leather-fringe dining table below an antique custom canoe light. The kitchen is stocked with the the essentials needed for your stay and has a large island for meal prepping and storage. Just off the kitchen you will find a spacious laundry room with a washer and dryer. There are 2 large private bedrooms, one on each end of the house. Each bedroom has (1) queen bed and (1) double/double bunk bed (total of 3 beds per room) with a total of 6 beds for 12 guests. Each room has a full bathroom en-suite with granite counter tops and a glass, walk-in tile shower. You will have plenty of room to store your luggage and personal belongings in the large closets- (1) located in each room. After a long day on the river, you can unwind by the iron fire pit. Enjoy star gazing and roasting s’mores, or cook over the open flame. In the grill area you will find several options for multiple styles of cooking. There is a regular charcoal grill, a kettle style ceramic charcoal grill and a smoker for slow cooking. Located near the 2nd Frio river crossing, Valley View is in an excellent, central location off of River Road. Just minutes from the river, there are multiple access points for tubing and water fun. There are several stores and restaurants within a few miles of the house as well as House Pasture Cattle Company and Frio Valley Ranch Golf Course. Garner State Park is just 10 miles away! Valley View offers the perfect summer getaway for enjoying everything the Frio River has to offer but is also a perfect fall and winter retreat for relaxing and getting away. This lovely cabin sleeps up to 22 people. There are 6 bedrooms, 10 beds, and two futons. The location of the cabin is down river road near the Frio River and close to many local stores. Walking distance to one the most popular restaurant, Hippie chics, as well as the others and public pool. There is big parking for the cabin. The backyards has 3 hammocks, a BBQ pit, two picnic tables, a round fire pit, cornhole, and horse shoe games. The inside of the cabin has two fridges, one microwave, a blender, toaster, etc. We leave bed covers/ sheets at NO EXTRA COST, as well as six towels (body and face). Our Casa Bella home is located in the Mountain Valley Subdivision in the heart of Concan and is the perfect place to relax outside and still have all the amenities you need inside the home. Case Bella sleeps 18 people comfortably, and has big, vaulted ceilings in the open kitchen and living room. But who comes to Concan to stay inside the house? That's what makes Casa Bella special. Outside you have a back porch that runs the length of the house. Inside the security fence, giving access to the pool, you also get a huge pavilion that has a bar and also seating at the wonderful outdoor tables. This pavilion, unlike any other in Concan, also has an evaporative cooler that will blow cool crisp air even on the hottest of days. Other amenities outside include a bbq pit, basketball court (on caliche), swing set, horseshoe pits, and of course the pool. We’re a <5-min drive to Second Crossing, a 9-min drive to Third Crossing, and a 13-min drive to the treasured Garner State Park.With winding streets and houses acres apart, it feels part country but with easy access to Concan hot spots and amenities. The pizza, margaritas on tap, live music and general vibes at Hippie Chicks does not disappoint. Find live music and two-stepping at Joe Jimmies, big names in country music at House Pasture and 18 holes of hill country golfing at the Frio Valley Ranch Golf Club.The cabin is funky. We traded the rusted Texas stars for MCM desert-style, bright-colored vibes. This is a place our family enjoys as well, and you can see the love we have put into it. If you want new-build style perfection, this is not your place. The stairs are a bit steep and the floors have some history, but the views and the style are things to be enjoyed.There are three floors. The main floor includes the kitchen, the living room, and the bedroom with a cal-king, a full bath, and a deck with zero-gravity chairs for stargazing and just comfort of course. The upstairs is a loft, open to the downstairs, with two double beds, one small double bed, and a twin (along with some children's books and toys). The lower floor includes a bedroom with a queen and a twin, a full bathroom, and access to the rocking chair deck that overlooks the pool deck.
