"Jag hade planerat att stanna i ett mycket mer älskvärt hotell nära, men jag stannade här när jag hade ett problem med mitt kreditkort. Hotellet är rent, säkert och tyst. Beläget mycket nära centrum av staden. Vårt rum hade en utsikt över floden. Om du försöker checka in före 15:00 måste du betala 15 extra.Detta är helt galet.Detta ledde också till en enorm klocka av människor som väntar på att checka in, så vi måste vänta från 14:40 till 15:15 innan du checkar in. Inget vatten i flaskan levereras i rummet, men oroa dig inte för att du kan köpa det från försäljningsmaskinen nere.Bara 3 euro för 500 ml!😂 Ingen tandborste finns heller, vilket är troligen en regeringsregel, men kom igen, de kan återvinnas.Jag garanterar att hälften av folket glömmer att ta med en och gå någonstans nära för att köpa en ändå. Jag ringde receptionen två gånger klockan 09:45 för att få nya handdukar och ingen svarade. Du får vad du betalar för.Det var bra, men jag stannar inte där igen."

"The room is comfortable, spacious and bright. The bed is especially comfortable. The food is delicious. The hotel staff is very enthusiastic. When they learned that 10.5 was the last breakfast, the restaurant manager Cosca (not sure if it is spelled correctly) immediately exempted us from the full breakfast for two on the morning of the 5th. The overall living experience made my husband and I feel at home. Next time I have the opportunity to come to Cork, Ireland, I will stay at River Lee again!"

"I am in love with their bed!! It’s the best I’ve ever slept on. So in love, I had to investigate to find out who makes their bed: it’s by the natural sleep company. I slept deliciously and I will now get a bed like that for my home. The employees were quite kind and helpful too. Clearly, from the bed alone, they invest in quality. It’s a gorgeous building and exquisitely maintained with a magnificent old world charm. I hope this gem lasts for ages and doesn’t succumb to the boring, overly modern, cookie cutter trope a lot of hotels have fallen into. I will return for sure."

"It takes only 10 minutes to walk from Cork train station with a suitcase. It's basically a straight line. It's all flat. It's very close to the river. The city center shopping center is across the river. It's very convenient. I didn't order breakfast, so I don't know how the hotel breakfast is. The room is spacious and clean with large activity space. The furniture and facilities are good, and the mattress is comfortable to sleep. The beautiful lady at the front desk is very friendly and greeted us in Chinese. The only bad thing is that the room we stayed in was on the second floor facing the street. The bar downstairs was too noisy until late, and light sleepers would be affected. Everything else was perfect."

"The rooms were definitely not clean. The staff was amazing and even upgraded our room due to it being our honeymoon, but the mold in the shower was a turn off. Uncomfortable beds for sure. If the price was a little more reasonable I wouldn’t have been so eh on the review."

"Mycket varmt hotell, med gott miljö, drivs av par och två. Vi bor i ett rent rum, med badrum, men lite litet, och två lådor kan inte öppnas. Frukost är mycket smakfull och rik.Det är bra för vår smak. Chefen och chefen är söt mot folk och söta. Hotellets position är långt från Kok, men det är lätt att nå på vägen."

Wonderful outdoor space / rooftop patio with plenty of furniture in shade or sun. Can't recommend enough. Wish we had more time to stay."
