"The hotel environment was very nice, located 100 meters from the train station. It was very convenient to get to Machu Picchu. There was a large market across the street where you could buy local specialties. However, the bathroom was extremely unsanitary; there were at least three ***** hairs in the bathtub that wouldn't come off even after several minutes of rinsing. I didn't shower that night."

The hotel is fantastic--the location is close enough to the attractions but just outside of the main tourist area since it's up on the hillside, so it's the perfect combination of convenience and relaxation. The check-in process was so welcoming, we felt at home as soon as stepping into the hotel's courtyard. The views from the hotel were unbelievable; the breakfast was great; the rooms were very clean and has all the comforts you'd need. And don't miss the llamas in the backyard! The restaurant staff didn't seem very experienced but it was sufficient."
