"We stayed here over the Thanksgiving break. The location is just perfect, right on the lake and within walking distance to restaurants, shops, the aquarium, and Bentleyville. We had a room facing the lake with a balcony and chairs (would have been lovely in warmer weather). The parking lot was large and we could always find empty spots. As other reviews have mentioned, the hotel is showing its age. We could easily hear the neighboring rooms’ crying children. There was no housekeeping during our stay. I would have requested some fresh towels but the front desk was not manned for several hours on Sat afternoon/evening which was odd. There was apple cider but most times I walked by it was empty. There were two free waters in our room Fridge which was nice. The pool area was nice but busy. We would have tried the outdoor hot tub but it was pretty full. The indoor hot tub was nice and large. Breakfast was free but nothing special, and was very busy at 7:30 on Sat morning - it was hard to find a table to sit. Overall the location outweighed the other complaints, and I’d probably stay here again."
