"Had a wonderful stay at St Ives hotel. Fabulous hosts, very welcoming and helpful. Hotel rooms all very comfortable, great start to our family trip “down memory lane”! Best breakfast we had away! Don’t miss the delicious porridge and our mum loved the pancakes! I could have had the scrambled eggs and smoked salmon for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Thank you Kenny and team!"

"Allt var perfekt.Jackie var bara söt, fick dig att känna dig mycket avslappnad och välkomna, rummet var rent och hade allt vi behövde för vår övernattning. Av alla hotell och b&b's jag har stannat i detta utan tvekan var det bästa lagade frukost jag någonsin haft.Om jag är tillbaka i Dunoon skulle jag inte se någon annanstans att stanna, rekommenderar jag starkt 😊"

"Stayed at the guest house for 2 nights. It is a beautiful guest house, absolutely spotless, tastefully decorated and with amazing views. Ken is the most loveliest man, so welcoming and warm and will give you knowledge of the area. The breakfast is gorgeous as is the haggis, which I have never tried before. If you’re going to this area I would not hesitate to send people to Douglas park and to meet Ken. Thanks Ken for a lovely stay and hopefully see you again soon "

"We booked this boutique hotel for 3 days far away from hectical city life ! Kenny&Lesley care best how to reach and guide. We arrived with a warm welcome and get all explained. Forst day a good fish&chips and awesome view from our window in room Bute ! The living room is also a good place to relax and enjoy the silence on a top sea view. Breakfast is pre choice and very tasty. Good service. Housekeeping is on call and working well. Nice walking promenade and few good restaurant near. Excellent stay with a great thanks to both and maybe see you again."

"Had the most incredible 2 nights at Douglas Park. We were greeted warmly by Ken, who couldn’t have been more accommodating and knowledge. The location is perfect, with beautiful views of the promenade and a short walk into Dunoon. We were lucky with the weather too so that was a bonus! Rooms were absolutely immaculate and decorated beautifully. The shower was super powerful and there was lovely shower gel, soap, shampoo provided. I had a sea front room but my travelling companion had a lovely garden view ( very well maintained!), which again, was just as nice! I really enjoyed my morning coffee and tea cake looking out the large bay windows. Breakfast was faultless. Would reccomend the crumpet, Brie and bacon, it was spot on. The meat used in the breakfast is obviously butcher quality. I forgot to ask Ken where he gets that haggis - it was the best I’d tasted!! There was a fab wee lounge area with great views that was available for guests to use too. I would absolutely recommend a stay at Douglas Park, there’s not a thing I would change about my stay. Beyond expectations, thank you! I’ve already made the recommendations to my friends."
