"Exceptional hotel value and quality. It’s an easy short level walk from the station. Fantastic staff with n check in and at the restaurant. The breakfast was great variety but the hot food counter had not been switched on so was all good. This was quickly replaced so no harm done. Will be back again next Chinese new year Local information on the castle times and bus travel were all good and explained. Very happy"

"Hotellets rum är utformade som ett hus,  Mycket varmt känsla.Hotellets korridor är som en labyrint, med bilder eller byggnader i varje hörn, mycket speciell.Sängrum är särskilt bekvämt, med en temperatur av måttlig varmhet och en natt med varmhet. Det viktigaste är att få en romantisk frukost, mycket rik, miljömässigt europeisk, som var ett riktigt romantiskt sätt att starta tyst natt!"

"Everything in the hotel and location was great! Just few points... 1. I had to bring my suitcase upstairs and it was exhausting. Seems like no elevator. 2. The shower pressure and temperature were not consistent and I had to avoid the cold water in the small shower booth. But there was no problem in the morning shower so I guess it was because of other guests taking shower at the same time. (but, should it?) 3. no fridge"

These issues greatly impacted my stay and I would recommend improvements to enhance guest satisfaction."

"Detta är en fantastisk egendom som bor i dalen under Neuschwanstein slott.Det är några minuter till den älskade staden Fussen med kvinnliga butiker och fina restauranger. Allt om hotellet är otroligt...Mycket vänligt och hjälpsamt personal, läckra frukost och middag och mysiga rum.Det spaområde som alla är fria att använda är den trevligaste jag någonsin sett som är ingår i priset på ditt rum. Kalldagg, uppvärmd pool, varmt rör och bastu är alla tillgängliga.Dessutom finns det flera rum för dig att slappna av när du njuter av en lugnande miljö. Det finns en bar och sittplats i lobbyn som gör det trevligt att träffa dina kompisar.Jag skulle definitivt stanna här igen."

"A lovely hotel with great facilities. The staff were welcoming and a special mention for Mohammed behind the bar who was very kind to us when we needed assistance. Breakfast fantastic although there isn’t a toaster (this caused distress to my travel partner!!!!). Reception didn’t always speak good English but that was our problem not theirs. The hotel is about a 25 minute walk to Fussen and taxis are €10 one way - often taking a while to arrive. Also you can’t seem to pre order a taxi - we walked to the train station on our departure rather than risk it with a taxi. Hotel is great for bike hire and boat trips. We received the Fussen card which gives you free bus transport and money off certain attractions, and money off bike hire and boating when booked with the hotel. All in all we would definitely recommend this hotel."

"This hotel is in a beautiful little resort a few kilometres from Fussen and the castles. The hotel overlooks a beautiful lake and although busy in the daytime, quiet at night. The room was very clean, nicely decorated and had one of the biggest baths I've ever used. We paid extra for a lake view. We could see the lake but only from a side view. We ate in the Italian restaurant downstairs. Which did very nice food. The restaurant staff are also the ones who check you in. They are friendly and helpful. My only criticism was we were not told we were going to be charged to park in the garage. It was difficult to park it has about 8 tiny spaces, we didn't bump our car, but I expect many do trying to park here. If we had been told we were paying to use this garage, even though it was only a few euros, we would of chosen to park elsewhere in town. I would recommend this lovely hotel though, good value, in a beautiful location next to the lake. "

"Hotel Geiger’s excellent panoramic suite is overlooking the lake and mountains. It has a spacious seating area, bathroom and balcony. Free WiFi, varied breakfast buffet, wellness and good restaurant. Super friendly and helpful staff. Bus stop in front of the door and 2 train stations in the area. Have enjoyed my stay so much again and booked again for next year."
