"We had a little trouble accessing the property as the gate intercom was lacking credit. Once we checked in everything was good. There was space to sit outside in the sun and enjoy the fresh air. It was an easy walk in to town to choose a place for dinner or to walk along the seafront and enjoy the views. We had a comfortable room, bed and pillows and woke to the sound of birds chirping happily. Breakfast was plentiful and we left refreshed."

"We arrived at Mosselberg on Grotto Beach, to be given the tour by Brighton, who throughout was a welcoming and reassuring presence; even waiting up until 1:30 to see us safely to our room, following a rather boozy wedding party. The view from our room was glorious, spotting whales close to the shore within minutes of our arrival, and regularly afterwards was a real treat. Breakfast was fresh and varied, with abundant local produce, and provided an opportunity to chat with other guests. All in all, a wonderful stay in beautiful surroundings, with attentive and delightful staff."

Restauranger är inte långt borta men eftersom det är mörkt vid 18 är det bäst att inte äventyra på fots."

"La Fontaine Guest house in Hermanus is really lovely. It is a mixture of two Cape Houses situated on the elevated terrace overlooking the ocean. Inside you will find antiques, comfortable furnishings, and memorabilia. The bedrooms are all different and very cosy with some overlooking the sea. There is a small pretty garden and pool and the property serves a super breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea. The staff are very friendly and make you feel at home. The town centre with restaurants and bars is just 5 minutes walk away. A great place to stay!"

"We went to Hermanus to celebrate our 60th Wedding Anniversary and husband's birthday. Wow what a Guest House, the welcoming we received from Reception - Catering Staff - was out of this world. They pulled out all the stops - from a Chocolate on arrival with a Wedding Anniversary Wish to decorating our room - when we had gone out to eat - the restaurant they had kindly reserved for us - to find our room decorated with balloons, petals - hearts on the bed with the petals, champagne on Ice - and a gold 60 Sign. We booked for Bed and Breakfast and the breakfast was amazing - serving a cold section and hot cooked meal. The friendliness of all the staff was way beyond our expectations. The Room was clean, ensuite absolutely beautifully appointed - each evening we were given bottled water - which we felt was another wonderful gesture and chocolates when the room was turned down."
