"Breakfast was incredible - absolute highlight of the trip! Sat on the beach with the best view for brekkie! A fair way out from town but a beautiful stretch of beach! One of the nicest beach areas we saw and we walked along this section of the island a few times in our holiday there - excellent relaxing music & a good atmosphere with no children. Good & friendly service, nice and clean room, only negative was we struggled to find the entrance and had to wait for staff to check in. If you get rain be aware the roads get fairly waterlogged but you can just about navigate this."

The logistic nightmare continued the following day : Obliged to pack up our goods and store them at reception. The room was not ready for the trip at 13:00. After we were asked to return 1 h later, we were still required 40 minutes of waiting. "The apartment hotel is located near the beach and about a 15-minute walk from the center—depending on where you want to go. The "roads" and paths are not yet paved and consist of sand and some gravel. Like everywhere else on the island, they are not yet developed. On rainy days, these can be challenging. The hotel has a small pool, loungers, and shady areas. On the third floor, there is a rooftop terrace with a canopy and hammocks. The view is absolutely beautiful. Our apartment consisted of a living area with a kitchenette and a bedroom. The furnishings were functional, equipped with air conditioning and ceiling fans. Due to the high humidity, the occasional rust spot appeared, but this didn't really bother us. Unfortunately, the wardrobe was in the bathroom, which isn't ideal, and the kitchen floor and refrigerator were unfortunately stained and unhygienic. The trash can could also use a thorough cleaning. Otherwise, the apartment was clean."

"The hotel is fine, it looks relatively new and is well-maintained. The beaches are beautiful, but because of this, it's a bit isolated from the town center where the restaurants and shops are, although there is a small, poorly stocked shop next door and a small mini-market a little further away. It has two pools, but they are always cold. I don't know if they're bearable in the summer; we couldn't go in during the winter. The children and the Europeans didn't have as much of a problem. Being on an island, there's no medical service for serious situations, and the closest option is Cancun, a two-and-a-half-hour ferry ride followed by a drive, so be prepared. Most of the staff are very friendly and helpful. The TERRIBLE thing is the restaurant. The food in general is poorly seasoned, but the worst of all is the BREAKFAST. There are only HORRIBLE scrambled eggs that seem to be made with water, sausages, beans, chilaquiles, and pancakes. The juice is diluted with water and syrup (we saw it). It's outrageous! As if they didn't charge enough! The sweet bread was awful, the coffee was scarce and they didn't serve it at the table. The food trays were always empty because there were too many guests and they couldn't keep up. It was so bad that on the third day we decided to go to a neighboring hotel (and pay $1500 for 3 people) with an excellent, very generous buffet and excellent service, all the coffee we wanted, and they always served us at the table. They had scrambled eggs prepared beforehand, but you could also order an omelet with different extras made to order, etc. Overall, a thousand times better. The tours the hotel sells don't tell you that it's not the season, so on the bioluminescence tour you can barely see anything and you have to keep moving the water around to get a glimpse of it, and on the three-island tour you don't see a single pink flamingo. We definitely will NOT be returning to this hotel."

En rättvis väg ut ur stan men en vacker sträcka av stranden!Ett av de vackraste strandområdena vi såg och vi gick längs denna del av ön några gånger i vår semester där - utmärkt avslappnande musik och en bra atmosfär utan barn. Bra och vänlig service, trevligt och rent rum, bara negativt kämpade vi för att hitta ingången och tvingades vänta på personalen att checka in.Om du får regn var medveten om att vägar blir ganska vattenlokade men du kan bara navigera det här."
