The lovely chef recommended the Swordfish for our second dinner having been caught 4 hours before. It was an absolute delight. Our lovely room had a view of Pico. Definitely a fantastic trip. "

"The hotel is located right in the centre of Horta with easy access to the port. The rooms are basic but are great value for money with the most amazing view of Pico. If you like a nice coffee in the morning, take a trip to A Padaria just down the street."

"The location is great as it’s on the edge of town and across from the ocean with great ocean views. Also opening the windows and hearing the waves while in your room is certainly nice. The design of the property and the room was nice. They put breakfast in the room that includes coffee, juice, croissants, yogurt, meat and cheese. The room came with a sink, refrigerator, stove top for cooking, microwave, a panini press and a pod coffee maker. The bed was too hard for me. Also it was two small beds pushed together and they would split apart in the night and create a canyon that you fall into. There is a bar and restaurant on the first floor, which is nice if you want to stumble from your table up to your bed, but it can be loud if you’re trying to sleep. I didn’t eat at the restaurant so not sure how the food is. Parking at the end of the day can be difficult as the lot is full from the combination of people staying at the hotel and dining at the restaurant. Otherwise plenty of parking. The toilet paper was similar to a natural fiber paper towel, so not soft at all."

"Centrumet i Faial är fotgängligt tillgänglig, så perfekt läge. Parkering på gatan alltid tillräckligt tillgänglig och trots huvudstenen lugn. Rumet, jag bokade Ermida da Guia med balkong, lämnade att önska. På marken en hel del djur och jag hoppas att inte ha dragit in i närmaste hotell eller ännu värre, med hem,. Det går inte alls! Backan är en fransk, så bara ett steg djupt och därmed inte riktigt användbar. Fönster kunde inte stängas säkert, så jag lämnade alltid rullstolarna nere av säkerhetsskäl när jag var frånvarande. Även om det finns en ventilation i badrummet, men den är för svag för rumsstorleken så jag var tvungen att lufta över rummet för att kunna använda den. I allmänhet badrummet är mycket smal och endast begränsade deponier. Det är också för mycket tvättpulver, eller det används väldigt mjukt tvättmedel eftersom det har luktat obehagligt. Andra gäster är delvis mycket högt och det gemensamma köket sprids obehagliga lukter. Inga rekommendationer och bilder lovar mer än de håller. Dessutom är kommunikationen mycket nervös eftersom ägarens eller administratörens e-postmeddelanden var uteslutande på portugisiska. Engelska skulle ha varit lämpligt eftersom jag inte heller kommunicerat på mitt modersmål. Jag har inte fyllt i personbladet av dataskyddsskäl, eftersom andra bostäder inte behövde denna information och det saknas en hänvisning till EU:s grundläggande dataskyddsförordning (som även gäller i Portugal)."
