"This beautiful old hotel on Main Street in Stockton was the inspiration for a song by Rogers and Hart. I live locally and have never stayed at the Inn but I’ve been to the restaurant a few times. The backyard courtyard area is stunning. Inside the 1704 building is an historic tavern area and a quiet dining room. The three dining areas have different vibes and on separate visits, I’ve had dinner in all three places. The food is excellent. My favorites are the tuna carpaccio appetizer and the mussels entree. But don’t worry, they also serve creative pastas and red meat. You can also meet friends in the courtyard or tavern just for a drink. Service is friendly and professional."

"The hotel is very unique, converted from an old train station. The riverside scenery is beautiful, with stunning views everywhere you look. I really liked the atmosphere of the hotel; it put me in a good mood. We took photos in the lobby, and the staff were very friendly."
