"Great place and so much fun history. We stayed here in 2000 with our kids and were so happy to return and hear that it's again managed by local owners who are working to upgrade and spruce it up to its original glory. Didn't get a chance to eat in the dining room. Next time!"

Entire house & yard to yourself! Everything you need to visit the local National Parks or other attractions. The building was used for a amazon parrot flight house for a local sanctuary. They were in the process of demoing the old building. We saved it and gave it a new purpose! The lot it sits on had a birdhouse where a pair of birds would raise their young every year. There is a king bed in the master bedroom, a queen bed with a twin loft bed over-top more suitable for children in the second bedroom, and a sleeper sofa (queen size) in the living room. We also have a pack & play, booster chair, baby bathtub, and dishes for children if you are traveling with little ones.
Step through the double doors of the living room and be greeted by a spacious patio, complete with a roof that offers ample shade. Stay connected with nature even during the heat of the day, while being treated to breathtaking views that will leave you in awe. Prepare to indulge in pure relaxation on this inviting patio. You can walk to two awesome hiking trails from the house, or drive to three national parks (Zion, Bryce, Grand Canyon) and numerous national monuments, state parks, slot canyons, The Wave, and more.

Our private suite is in the lower level of our home in the charming town of Kanab. You will have a private entrance next to your parking space. There's a porch to relax on after your adventures to watch the sun glow off the red rock cliffs or to enjoy a morning coffee. You will be close to hiking trails, restaurants, & Jacob Hamblin City Park. Your private parking space can fit two cars; additional parking for boats, UTVs, etc is available. Two separate bedrooms, spacious living area & a roomy restroom. Large, south facing windows provide plenty of sunshine to fill the spaces. Includes 5G fiber internet and a Roku TV to help you stay connected if you so wish. The kitchen is stocked with the a refrigerator, air fryer, toaster, microwave, Keurig with coffee/tea/cocoa and fixings (sugar/ creamer), spices, pots and pans, silverware, dishes, and a 2-burner stove. If there is anything you need, we are happy to provide anything we can.
Pets: We have a tie-out available to safely enjoy being on the porch with you. Please pick up after them. We can provide food and water bowls, a clean bed and pet bedding for use to protect furniture. Please clean up in house accidents; we can get you more supplies if needed.
