"Hotellet behöver en renovering. I rummen hör man allt som händer runt och trots att de är bra storlek, sängar är små och obehagliga och det gamla möbler. Platsen är mycket bra, men förresten kan det förbättras ganska."

"We absolutely love The Alcadima Hotel. We stayed once before and when in the area always pop in for lunch or dinner. It's family run with wonderful staff. The grounds are gorgeous. I can't believe more people don't come in for a look around and to eat in the fantastic restaurant. The food is delicious. It's absolute bliss. The pool is amazing and meticulously clean. The staff are all so polite, friendly and kind. Can't do enough for you. We highly recommend breakfast. For 11 Euros it's so good and with a lots of choice. We had a look at two other hotels (up the street) for breakfast and they couldn't beat the Alcadima Hotel. Our room had a beautiful view of the mountains. We did have a little bit of trouble with the air con - it wasn't as cold as we hoped. We managed though and the staff did their best for us. It's not an ultra modern hotel. It's delightful and in keeping. Highly recommend the trip up to Trevélez and then on the way down take in other white villages i.e. Capileira, Pampaneira. Pampaniera is about 35 mins drive so an easy trip out for dinner if you fancy it. We always come back to Alcadima for it's fantastic hospitality. A highly recommended hotel. Do try the restaurant. You won't be disappointed. We love visiting Lanjaron - it's a lovely town with lovely restaurants and bars. Thank you to everyone at Alcadima."

"I was not staying at the hotel but paying to use the facilities. The staff were very friendly and helpful but unfortunately we paid to stay for lunch and this is when it went all downhill. We had a very nice lunch but two of my group had a starter of mixed tomatoes, onions, oranges and small bits of fish. Within two hours my friend was being violently sick and I followed shortly after. 16 hours of vomiting and holiday ruined. Would not recommend to eat there but facilities and staff were great."

"Went for a beautiful 2.5 hour ride with my daughter and a friend. The guide was super friendly and knowledgeable, the horses well suited to each of us, well trained and forward going. The views above the ranch are stunning . I would highly recommend"

"Vi har boende i dessa lägenheter och erfarenheten var utmärkt. De är mycket vackra, är otåligt ren och har allt som behövs för en bekväm vistelse. De är också mycket väl placerade, med lättillgänglig och parkering, vilket är mycket tacksamt. Området är perfekt för dem som njuter av vandring, eftersom det finns många närliggande vägar och fantastiska landskap. Vi gick i sommar, men lägenheterna är också perfekt för vintern, med sten och pellets växthus som ger en mysig touch. En detalj att framhäva är Maris uppmärksamhet, ägaren, som var charmig och alltid väntade på att allt skulle gå bra."
