"We spend two nights at the Lenkerhof with our two children (11 and 14 years old). The facilities of the hotel are very nice and the location is great for hiking. The pools are also very nice. The indoor pool is not too crowded and it is easy to to laps. The outdor pools has great mountain views and is really nice. We very much enjoyed our stay there. The quality of the food at the restaurant is really great. It has a rating of 15 (out of 20 from Gault et Millau) but it seems to be much better than that. For example the food in this restaurant is definitely better (more crative and simply more tasty) than the Table d'Edgar of the Lausanne palace (17 points in the same guide). The only complaint I would have is that the beds are very firm (and I like firm beds); given that this is a 5 star hotel, I think they should think about investing in new mattresses (actauuly our 14 year old son woke up the second night at 5am and decided to finish his night on the sofa (we had booked junior suites that had sofas)."

"Rooms simple, but everything available; cleaning at the beginning perfect, then declining; staff very friendly and hearty; breakfast buffet rich; very good quality; everything fresh; very good bread; only negative point; dust suction during breakfast. With the guest card of the hotel, all wire trails are free of charge. Rooms with balcony; view of the mountains and the ice-shoe! Restaurant Chufferchessi (separately conducted): Special, creative variations of mixed salads. Meat always onto the point brat, well tasted. "The friendliest and most helpful staff I’ve ever come across. On a Saturday night I needed to go to see a doctor, they found the one in the region on call and then the manager, Bjorn Heimagartner, drove me and refused to be compensated. After I was better, they helped me catch a train, called to make sure I caught it and made a special after hours dinner for me and friends. The very best of humanity. Many, many thanks!"

The rest of the spa was completely full on a Sunday, not the kind of relaxing experience you would expect.. nevertheless this is a great place to stay at!"

"Vi var i skolans klass (30 personer) att besöka. Mountain Lodge ligger optimalt fem minuters promenad från Lenk järnvägsstation. Lodges omlopp inbjuder till spel. Tabeltennis, volleyboll och mycket mer. Inrättningen inkl. Köket (för självförsörjning) är användbart och tillräckligt. Vi har fått hjälp av personal och företagsledning inom möjliga ramar. Vare sig det gäller underhållningssystem som Beamer, TV och mycket mer. Tack för det och jag vill gärna säga en gång till."

"The bad comments that I absolutely cannot confirm are not very helpful. The renters changed about 1.5 years ago, we found that in a conversation with Barbara. Which is now conducting the hotel. Arthur is the cook who has the kitchen absolutely in the hands. The whole team is super nice. The kitchen is fantastic, despite high eating the food came quickly. It was so delicious!! Even for children always all fresh even the chickens Nuggets themselves made. Not 0815 from the bag. Breakfast is tip top and it has everything you need. Coffee machine for different coffees, ovo and different teas. How had the Superior Alpenchic family room. The room (parent bedroom, children's room and stube) was modern and very generous with a large balcony with view and in the room with nespresso machine. Rooms were always well cleaned and towels were changed according to their own needs. Since it is a wooden house you sometimes hear the trip from above, but it was absolutely not bad and normal for the house. It has a kind of living room with toys, reading chairs, books and a minibar with snacks for self-service with a Kässel. The free parking is also available that we have always used in the box. There is also before the house. There can be directly upstairs with the bags. No lift, but the few stairs can be well risen. To reach everything in the village by foot or by bus. Our children liked to play chess in the garden and felt very well in the family hotel! There is a ski skiller, but we didn't use it because we rented a locker at the mountain station. In short, thank you for your hearty hospitality and we will certainly come back! Whether to eat (whatever you can be without a guest of the hotel) or to stay. :-) Hotel with charm!"

"We had room 205 with balcony. Despite being quite big, Hotel Kreuz manages to be cosy. Our room was fairly simple but it was fine and it worked. Not too many frills in the room but we still felt good in it. Very friendly check-in staff. We wanted lunch in the small and cosy restaurant facing the road and although the kitchen was actually closed in preparation for dinner later, when we said we were just looking for a bowl of tomato soup they let us in and served us nice soup and bread. All in all, a very positive experience."
