In addition to doing business in Linfen, this hotel is also very suitable for resting during transit to Hukou Waterfall and Wangjiayuan. I rested one night on the way from Beijing to Xi'an, and chose to rest one night here after going to Hukou Waterfall from Xi'an before going to Taiyuan. You must eat at the Chinese restaurant, it is super delicious and the price-performance ratio is very good. Anyway, it is much better than the many pre-prepared food restaurants in Beijing. I had dinner for two nights and was very satisfied with both meals."

"While in Linfen, I stumbled upon Gucheng Courtyard and was instantly curious about this hotel. I booked it with a 'let's just try it out' attitude, and wow, it really blew us away! The exterior is an old traditional house, but I was surprised to find the rooms had incredibly complete facilities. The underfloor heating was fantastic; you could walk around barefoot without a problem. It had all the amenities you'd expect from a star-rated hotel, and the common areas even had fitness equipment, which was a really thoughtful touch. I especially loved their tea room – sitting down with a cup of tea there was so relaxing. The service was also very attentive and friendly. All in all, I absolutely loved it."
