"The room was surprisingly good, and my whole family loved it. The front desk staff was warm and attentive. The young man who helped us was also excellent—quiet but very handsome! He patiently guided us through check-in, helped with our luggage, and even told us which floor the parking was on and where the 'L' level was, which was super convenient for food deliveries. The beach was just a few minutes' walk away, and the complex itself was lovely with great privacy. They even covered our parking fees. I'd feel bad not giving them a five-star rating! Huge thanks for the care and daily housekeeping during our stay. All in all, fantastic value for money and a great experience. Seriously, for this price on a vacation, what more could you ask for?"

"Absolutely terrible. The mattress was utterly disgusting; I wouldn't have even known there was vomit on it if I hadn't been looking for something. The ground floor is a seafood restaurant, and the hallway upstairs reeked of cooking fumes. The staff actually tried to tell me it was guests cooking in their rooms – cooking until the early hours, I suppose? This entire area consists of self-built houses. While it's close to the beach, the smell of fish and cooking oil is very strong. If you like peace and quiet, steer clear. The beach quality isn't great either. From Haikou to Sanya, this is by far the worst hotel I've stayed in. Other places might be overpriced, but at least the quality is there. This is completely unacceptable. Just thinking about that mattress makes me sick. It usually costs around 200, but they hiked the price to 890, caring only about profit and not quality. If the environment and hygiene were even halfway decent, it might be forgivable, but this is what I got. The only positive thing was the staff; besides that, there's really nothing good to say."

Alexander, our Culture & Travel ambassador, provided attentive service right from check-in, making us feel completely at home. The hotel's Thai restaurant is also delicious 😋. I'll definitely be bringing my family back next time!"

"Facilities: This time we stayed in the parent-child building at Sanzhengyue, and the room type was absolutely perfect! My daughter loved it so much. The pink theme was super cute and cartoonish; I don't think any child could resist a bunk bed and a slide! Hygiene: The hotel's overall hygiene was very good, and the linens were all clean and tidy. Since the parent-child rooms are carpeted, there might occasionally be some small spots (from previous guests spilling things), but I found this acceptable. Environment: The hotel's overall environment is quite good, with all the necessary amenities. Before coming, I had checked on Xiaohongshu and was worried about encountering gnats with a child, but I stayed for two nights and didn't see any, either in the room or outdoors. My daughter spent a long time at the water park! Service: When it comes to service, there are truly no words – haha, it's really that good! The butler added me on WeChat before check-in to inform me about hotel activities and useful tips. During our stay, they were incredibly responsive, replying quickly even when busy. When the TV wasn't working, they even arranged a room change for us (P.S., I hadn't even noticed the TV issue myself; they proactively told me!), and they gave us a little surprise. A big shout-out to Tiffany Tian Tian – she was just amazing! Summary: Overall, this stay was truly satisfying! 🫰🏻"

"Our stay at Raffles Clearwater Bay was made truly special by Manager Darryl. He helped us secure a beautiful villa, perfectly private and quiet, with a lovely little garden right outside – it really felt like a true getaway. On checkout day, we had an urgent matter, and he quickly processed everything for us, saving us valuable time. He was incredibly responsive throughout our stay, ensuring my whole family was comfortable. Next time we're in Sanya, we'll definitely choose Raffles Clearwater Bay again, and we'll certainly be looking for Darryl!"

"The breakfast was a chaotic mess. It was overcrowded and disorganized, and the food wasn't good at all. My child ended up just having porridge because there was nothing else appealing. There clearly weren't enough staff, and you had to scramble for a seat. Anyone could access the elevators without a key card, which felt very unsafe. The cleanliness was just okay, but the bed was quite comfortable – I slept well during my stay. The staff members were also polite. Aside from the extremely chaotic and unappetizing breakfast, I didn't try the other family activities so I can't comment on them. We really just needed a slightly better hotel for a two-night stopover."

They even picked longan fruit from their own backyard for us, creating a perfect spot for a relaxing vacation."

Just speak to control everything, even the curtains are automatic – a lazy person's dream! The zero-pressure mattress, giant screen projector, and surround sound system make watching TV a breeze. The staff are incredibly friendly, polite, and patient – truly commendable! After a long day of sightseeing, I wanted to grab a coffee from the lobby machine, but it was unfortunately out of order. So I went up to my room. To my surprise, after fixing the machine, the front desk attendant personally brought two cups of coffee up to our room! I was incredibly touched. This really shows that their commitment to service isn't just talk, but genuinely put into action. I can honestly say, don't hesitate to stay at this hotel; you won't be disappointed! 👌🏻"

"The hotel was very nice. It’s situated right next to the beach and there are many restaurants and activities nearby. The room was very pleasant to stay in. What stood out to me was the shower room. It was exceptional. Others good things to note are the size of the tv, balcony and the swimming pool. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and we would stay here again! They really helped to make our trip to lingshui special 酒店地理位置超级好，下楼就是沙滩，沙滩对面就是美食广场，购物吃饭都很方便，最主要是步行就到了！距离呆呆岛、猴岛、新村码头就7、8km，码头还能赶海！！一天就可以逛完这几个景点，晚上还能去新村夜市吃点海鲜加工，还有当地岛酸粉热粉炒冰这些，太到位了！"

"This guesthouse in a small town is clean, tidy, and offers great value for money in terms of its facilities and environment. The owner and staff are warm and attentive. We were greeted with a fruit platter and ice cream upon arrival. They provide free shuttle services to Fenjiezhou Island and Lingshui Station, and even offer electric scooters and tricycles for guests to use. There's also a play area for kids, and the courtyard is beautifully and meticulously decorated. The breakfast is nutritious and delicious, and having a laundry room and a small kitchen is very convenient."

The guesthouse has its own restaurant, serving excellent Northeastern Chinese cuisine, barbecue, and seafood. The owner also has a small tricycle, which is my favorite part; I borrow it every time. This is a place you won't want to leave once you've been here. I highly recommend it to everyone!"
