"Hotel is amazing and is in front of the gate and is really helpful. Unfortunately for the fact was low season, the cleanliness of the room wasn’t great and I’ve found at least 8 stinks bugs. It wasn’t a huge problem but there were some already dead so it means that the camera was left like this for long time. For the rest everything was amazing! Dinner and Break was a great surprise for the quality!"

"I cannot recommend this farmhouse enough! If you are visiting the Jinshanling Great Wall, staying here is an absolute must. The location is perfect, featuring a beautiful rooftop terrace where you can sit and look directly at the Great Wall in total peace. The room itself was modern, and clean, with a great AC, but set right in the middle of a charming, authentic farm. But the absolute highlight of my stay was the host family. The hospitality is unmatched. The Owner Lady of the house cooked some of the most delicious, massive, and authentic meals I’ve had in China, and she went completely out of her way to make sure I was comfortable and well-fed. The food was also unbelievably affordable. The Owner truly went above and beyond for me. When I was struggling to find a reasonably priced car back to Beijing, he spent hours late at night helping me on WeChat, making sure I wasn't overcharged by local drivers. He eventually helped me find a cheap, highly scenic train route back to the city and personally drove me to the local station. They treated a solo foreign traveler like absolute family. If you want a genuine, heartwarming, and frictionless experience at the Great Wall, book this place. 太好吃了 and 谢谢 to the amazing hosts!""

"The room was clean and tidy. I took a break one day and didn't go out, so it was quiet all day long. The family members all agreed that they had a good rest at night and the quality of their sleep was very high. The boss's own restaurant serves delicious meals three times a day, with large portions, fresh food, and good quality at low prices. The big steamed buns are delicious, and there are also fried eggs, fried mushrooms, tofu soup, pimple soup... The lady boss grows green onions and cucumbers herself, and every dish is delicious. The proprietress is beautiful and enthusiastic. We have elderly people and children. The proprietress takes good care of both the children and the elderly. The boss heard that we wanted to climb the Great Wall to watch the sunrise, so he drove us to the ticket office at 4 a.m. for both days of our stay. Thank you. This trip to the Jinshanling Great Wall was very enjoyable, and I highly recommend Cuijia Xiaoyuan. Forget taking photos at the B&B, post some beautiful views of the Great Wall!"

"For a family trip, the big kang can accommodate four to five people without any problem. Breakfast is available for 10 yuan per person. Overall, it is a homestay with a relatively high cost performance. It is about 400 to 500 meters away from the east gate of Jinshanling Great Wall. You have to drive to the main gate, about 2 kilometers away. Parking is convenient."

"Super good farmyard! I came to Jinshanling for a game. The last farmhouse cheated me. I almost had to sleep on the street (speechless). I changed hands and found that this farmhouse had an empty room. The boss and the proprietress are sincere people, especially good to the guests, especially intimate, specially picked me up to the foot of the Great Wall to participate in the game. In the evening, I made dinner for me, full of two large bowls and my own farm dishes, and charged me ten yuan. The room was also very clean and I slept very comfortably. highly recommended! !"

"Be cautious when booking. If you have no other options, be sure to speak with the hostess. She has a poor understanding, acts impulsively, and acts without regard for consequences. 1. No rooms available upon arrival. We booked two rooms for our off-road trip, but only one was available. It's likely they rented it out at an inflated price. According to the host, this wasn't just us; at least one other person also had their room sold out, meaning they overbooked by two rooms. This isn't a one-off incident! 2. Asking for a surcharge. This place asked for a surcharge without prior notice. In the end, after discussing it with the hostess, they refunded 50 yuan (room rate was 160 yuan per room, plus breakfast was 10 yuan per person, totaling 30 yuan, equivalent to half of the room rate). I heard from runners staying elsewhere that they didn't charge extra for arriving late. Some hosts who live farther away offered free shuttle services to the starting point. By the way, there's a place that charges two bowls of noodles for 10 yuan, but here they charge 10 yuan per bowl. Apparently, another place across the street doesn't charge extra, so keep an eye out for it. 3. Bad attitude. The man's attitude was extremely awful, his words were incoherent, and normal communication was impossible. Those who believe in "less is more" should think twice! I hope the behavior of a few individuals won't tarnish Jinshanling's reputation. Overall, the people on this off-road trip were very kind and warm, and I heard some very sincere stories about the hospitality of the shops!"
