"The breakfast is spectacular. Asian and continental food with a wide variety. I highly recommend it. The Chinese restaurant is also very good and doesn't take long to serve. I don't understand how a gym has pool and snooker tables in the middle... it doesn't make any sense. The hotel has two outdoor pools but does not have any type of bar or sun loungers to sunbathe by the pool. Furthermore, despite being a 5-star hotel, they do not provide towels for the pool, we had to say that we wanted more bath towels for the bathroom! One piece of advice is that you could also have background music."

"The Hotel Tivoli Maputo is in a great location for sightseeing. It's an easy walk to the Botanical Gardens, Train Station, Fort and Independence Square. The rooms are a good size with a great desk area and a large closet and a safe. The carpet is a little dirty but the majority of the flooring in the room is wood. The rooms are very clean and the bed comfortable. The staff is pleasant. It's a little unnerving that the hall lights turn off and I had to leave my room in the dark to get to the elevator. My room included breakfast and dinner. Dinner was very SLOW. I+ hours to eat dinner."

"This place is a real gem. It is so clean, modern and spacious and the staff are so friendly and accommodating. The location is also so central and convenient with a supermarket on the same block and cafes within walking distance. But the real highlight for me was how incredible the staff treated us. No matter what the issue was, they were ready to help solve it for us. The manager, Yuri, went out of his way to ensure we were taken care of and happy with our stay. I cannot recommend Oryx enough. I will definitely return to this beautiful hotel whenever I am next in Maputo!"

Excellent hotell som är vackert beläget och en slumpmässig promenad 2.5km passerar ambassader och konsulat till stranden.Värde för pengarna hotell runt om i beaktande av vad andra hotell tar ut särskilt för affärer. Rena och professionella hotell och restaurang serverar utmärkt frukost som också är strikt Halal (ingen alkohol eller gris).Matmenyn är omfattande och förvånansvärt bra.Personalen var utmärkt och alltid villig att hjälpa till med alla frågor. Hotellet och restaurangen var på toppen av sitt spel medan Yara, Felix, Maria på receptionen var effektiva och professionella.Incheckning var en bris.Det fanns en pool som var mycket inbjudande men jag kunde inte använda på grund av min schema. Stugan var bra och luftkonditionerad.Saunan byggdes fortfarande eftersom jag tror att det är ett nytt hotell.Jag kommer att boka här om tillgängligt när jag kommer till Maputo.Se om det inte kommer att bli besviken. Vissa mindre objekt som ska uppgraderas som wifi i rummen och ersätta tekoppar med muggar."

"Excellent stay. Very clean hotel. Comfortable bed. Nice size bathroom. Great selection and tasty breakfast. Very friendly staff - from the concierge, to reception and restaurant. Hotels in Maputo are generally pricey so this is a great find - cheaper than most hotels and a better deal than Air BnB which are exorbitant for a room in someones' house. Hotel Africa gets you a comfortable hotel stay with all the privacy and services. Ordered an airport transfer with the Hotel, well worth it. Will definately stay again, highly recommended for budget stays."

"Everything was fine until the final check-out. Due to carelessness, I accidentally booked the wrong dates—a room for a week from now. I contacted the hotel staff offline to inquire about a refund, and they all smiled and told me to contact an agent; there might be a chance to get a refund. However, all communication was ineffective. Ctrip helped me communicate with them countless times, but they just wouldn't give a refund, even half. I'm willing to pay half the price for my mistake. These shady guys are just too greedy for money."
