"We booked a 2 queen bed room for 2 nights but on the second night, the toilet is clogged. After calling the front desk, they left a plunger in the hall way. I went to the front desk and they claimed that the service manager is off and there is no room to swap. I was not please with the lady staff's response because they actually wanted customer to unclog the toilet themselves. A male stuff step in and he followed me to the room and unclogged the toilet. He was helpful but the female staff's customer service is terrible."

"This was my third stay at the Marriott Markham, and its location is very convenient with many Chinese restaurants nearby. The hotel's decor is quite new and modern, and the rooms are spacious enough with large beds, making for an overall comfortable experience. The front desk staff were excellent, very polite and enthusiastic. However, this time I noticed that the room cleaning wasn't meticulous enough, with dust in many spots that hadn't been properly cleaned. The room's view was also very poor, looking directly at the apartment building across the street and the driveway below. Being on a low floor made it feel quite oppressive. The parking lot is in the building across the street, which is a bit inconvenient, and it costs $20 per day. Despite these points, I would still highly recommend it overall; it's one of the newer hotels in Markham."

"Good Hotel will stay again . Large room with bath and all equipment working well .Great coffee machine and excellent choice of decaf if required . Good gym but a floor mat would help and good clock with sweep hand for timing is excellent. Paper cups for bathroom and coffee is a real no no had to request a proper cup and we missed request for sheet change."
