"This hotel is in an absolutely wonderful spot, just over Marlow Bridge from the pretty town and overlooking the river and weir. The public spaces are extremely sell-appointed, smart and comfortable. I mark service down on attention to detail: we were disappointed not to have been warned by the hotel that Marlow Bridge would be closed on the principal day of our booking; also, though we stayed for two days, our room was not serviced. In the event the bridge closure was less complete than predicted so our stay was not really affected materially. On facilities, I would say that the room, though very comfortable, was dated: though the bathroom was very good, there was notably only one power socket available in the room, far from the bed, and slightly tired-feeling furnishings. But we greatly appreciated the welcome for our dog, and we enjoyed two excellent breakfasts and good hospitality at the bar. Overall, of course we enjoyed our stay very much, but at this price level the service and accommodation could do with sprucing up."

"Vi hade en vacker startare och huvudkurs, verkligen njöt av den.Men den stickiga toffee puddingen, som vi alla hade, var inte alls bra.Saten smakade bränt och puddingen torr, vi borde ha skickat tillbaka den, men vi gillar inte att göra det."

"Booked this place based on some of the reviews. Positives - conveniently located to town centre, onsite parking, decent pub prices for drinks Negatives - stayed on the ground level room No.1, the window was straight onto the road outside, had to keep curtains closed to hide belongings. Smell of damp from the bathroom. TV remote was stolen but no replacement available. Went for breakfast, no menu available, the guy said that their refrigerators had broken down and had to throw a lot of food which did not leave many options. We went for scrambled egg on toast, very basic and cheap bread. Wont return here, it needs a good refurb and we’ve stayed in much nicer places for the same price!"
