"Vi hittade hotellet välkomnande eftersom den kvinnliga receptionisten var vänlig och erbjöd oss all hjälp.Hotellet var mycket ren, inklusive badrummet.Vårt rum var också rent och tyst.Allt fungerade! Vi älskade luftkonen i den här varma sommaren och vi kände oss cool hela natten.Det var en Greggs bredvid dörren för frukost eller bara en kaffe.Hotellet var centralt till var vi behövde vara och vi rekommenderade det. Det enda vi inte gillade var priserna i augusti (!), men det var inte dyrare än andra hotell, mindre i de flesta fall.Jag rekommenderar detta hotell om du planerar en resa till Wilts."

"My wife and I stayed here just one Sunday night. The hotel is centrally situated with a large car park. It is a wonderful old pub/hotel, full of character. The welcome was very friendly. The room had no towels provided, but this was very quickly rectified. We had an accessible room which included a wet room. Very spacious, but we felt that the disabled toilet and special wash hand basin were too close making it a bit difficult to easily use the toilet. The bedroom itself was clean and well equipped with a lovely large comfortable bed. We ate in the restaurant that evening and for breakfast; both were a little disappointing to be honest. The Sunday menu was very limited and service was very slow. What was on offer for dinner had been ‘jazzed up’ with, in our opinion, good food spoilt by the addition of some unusual ingredients. We felt that with a very limited offering, something more conventional might be more appropriate. My wife had the standard English breakfast; most of it was of a very low standard. The egg was rock solid, other stuff was luke warm. The only decent thing was the hash brown. I had the eggs royale which were superb! There are other eating options locally. We might stay again, but not eat here."
