"What a smashing wee hotel. We had a room on the 1st floor with terrace which was fantastic as we had direct access out onto the courtyard grass area with patio tables and loungers. The hotel is immaculate with modern interiors and a gym with spa. The whole ambience is cool and calm and peaceful and the location is fantastic, only a 2 min walk from the main areas and 5mins from the bus station if you fancy a trip elsewhere. If you are looking for a small, very friendly and peaceful hotel with lovely staff in an amazing location in beautiful Ciutadella this hotel will be for you. We would definitely go back."

"Nice location in the town of ciutadella. We had a suite as you get the extra outside space, large terrace with two sunbeds and a table & chairs. Nice big room. Digging up a road outside most of our stay so a little annoying when on the terrace. My worst part was on two consecutive mornings, I had ants drop into my cereal bowl along with my cereals, they obviously lived in the cereal dispenser. I left them both mornings and didn't try again after that. Good selection of other breakfast foods though."

"It was our second time at Galdana Gardens. It is very clean the rooms and surrounding areas are kept beautifully. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely apartment and we requested a certain room and they obliged. Would definitely go again"

"Just returned from a fabulous 5 night break. Having not had the opportunity to stay in an adults only resort before, I have to say this was the most relaxing holiday I've ever taken. The resort was beautiful, the staff were friendly and attentive, gave us directions to the local area on arrival and a bus time table. The property is perfectly situated between cala n bosch and Citudella and we had a wonderful time exploring both. The local bus is fantastic €1 to Cala n bosch €2 to Citudella run reasonably regular with a stop a 2 minute walk from the hotel. All in all we had an amazing time, don't usually visit a place twice but I think we may have to return, only thing that could of made it better was if we had been able to get a poolside room, but our room was nice enough tucked round the corner and glad it didn't get the afternoon sun as it was 28°. Other things to note that I wish I had known in advance - the hotel provides, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, moisturiser, and dish / hand soap (good to know if packing light). Pool towels are also available free of charge (I believe €2 charge to change them but we didn't) . Tips for local area - Can Joan is a fantastic little restaurant just off the harbour front, cheaper than other places and good quality tapas. Best bar is Chaplins, very friendly staff and smoking is allowed (lots of places are now anti smoking to my surprise). Boat trip to Cala Ganada is worth doing a beautiful resort with plenty of free time, even if you wanted to explore rather than spend the entire time on the beach. Citudella is a must, fantastic city with plenty to see and do. Lastly we did eat in the hotel on our last night and we thought the food was very good quality and a good price, also a jug of white sangria is delicious. "The hotel is conveniently located in the city, with a partner parking lot just over 100 meters away, offering affordable parking and 24-hour access. The hotel is adults-only and has a pleasant atmosphere. Snacks, fruit, coffee, and tea are available in the lobby, and drinks and alcohol are provided in the room refrigerators, all complimentary. There is a small swimming pool in the courtyard. The front desk has regular hours and excellent service, and the breakfast is small but delicious. A drawback is the poor soundproofing, especially in Room 1, which is located close to the main entrance and faces the street. It can be quite noisy at night, disrupting sleep."

"Absolutely disappointing stay; definitely NOT a 5-star experience. We had booked Torre Vella for a 10-day family holiday but left after just one night. The property might be suitable for a romantic weekend at best, but is completely inadequate for a family stay of any length. Breakfast was extremely poor with very limited choice and everything covered in flies. The food overall was terrible - whether burgers or fish, everything was sub-standard and borderline inedible. On top of that, the whole experience is massively overpriced. We honestly cannot understand how this location received a 5-star rating. Hugely overrated, overpriced and an absolute let-down."

"our children have bought a voucher for a menù degustaciòn & cata de vino to celebrate our 40th anniversary of wedding. Upon our arrival we asked what the menu was including in terms of wine and the waitress told us with nonchalance that we could take a bottle of wine. We have chosen one of your Torralbenc white wines, which honestly speaking was not what we expected from a location and wine maker such as you're supposed to be. On top of that, boh waitresses had major difficulties explaining every dish course which made the experience even more difficult. We must say that this experience was rather disappointing both in terms of food and wine. Nobody told us that we paid a surcharge to taste more than only one wine - at least the experience could have been a bit more exciting. Anyhow, be sure that we will not recommend your location."

"Vår fjärde besök på detta vackra rena hotell och igen var vi inte besvikna.Rummet var framför hotellet, mycket tyst med en stor balkong och bra att se solen stiga från om du kommer upp tidigt nog. Hotellet har tre pooler, de var vackra och varma med solen eftersom det var utomordentligt varmt när vi var där, det finns massor av solsängar vi inte kämpade för att få en. Ja, några gäster sätter på sina handdukar för dagen och går någon annanstans men förvaltningen verkar ha täckt detta.Vi betalade 10 euro för handdukar hyrs var och en som återbetalades när de återvände. Maten var varierande och aptitfull och alltid varm, kaffemaskinerna gav vår morgonkaffe och sedan från poolbaren. Vi är inte stora drickare men för oss var all inclusive stor alla dina vanliga andar, lägre öl och mjuka drycker, det finns också en snackbar som öppnar när middagsrummet stänger.Vi gick definitivt inte hungriga. Detta är ett av de bästa värdena för pengarna hotell vi har bosatt i Menorca och vi har försökt mycket!Vi kommer definitivt att återvända för en femte gång.Vi är bara hemma idag och vi tittar redan på september. Tack till all personal där för en riktigt trevlig vistelse Vi kommer att vara tillbaka!"

Om jag skulle säga de saker som vi gillade mest skulle vara, vänlighet och villighet personal, rening, buffé och anläggningar, det fanns ständigt aktiviteter att göra. Det är också sant att rummen inte är välljudda, även om vi inte hade några problem med att sova och att det inte finns mycket att göra i närheten."

"Vi har varit i detta vandrarhem, som har tjänster men inte priset. Även om vi var i två hade vi ett rum med slottsängar så totalt 4 sängar, eftersom enda kvar, men mycket begränsad utrymme, runt sängar och i rummet, med undantag för ingången, kunde bara passera en person. Gamla dusch och under natten kändes en konstant buller av en “motor”. Om jag tror att med 20 euro mer på natten vi sov i mitt hotell fantastiskt verkligen jag inte rekommendera det. Det är meningsfullt att stanna oss om du betalar mycket lite. Enda positiva noterar flickan från den mycket vänliga och tillgängliga check-in namn Mary."
