"the Location was great and the restaurant staff were friendly and provided us good service, which is unfortunately the two positive parts of our stay. when we arrive, the reception experience was very poor. No Information was given about the lodge or breakfast until I asked, and we were not even accompanied to our room. The condition of the room was disappointing. The shower and floors were dirty to the point where you could not shower without wearing flip flops. Housekeeping was also below standard. During our 2-night stay, the room was not properly cleaned, the bins were not emptied, dishes were not washed properly and both the bathroom and floors remained dirty. Only the beds were made. This was a very disappointing experience."

"The lodge itself is beautiful with top notch food, great guides for the safari drives and warm hospitality. You can spot elephants and hippos in the Olifant river from the deck outside the villa and at the restaurant and makes it feel like you're living in the wilderness. Our vegetarian diet was well catered for, the staff will really make you feel at home. The lodge is situated on top of a hill which involved a 30 minute bumpy ride on a non-paved road so it might be best to opt for the hotel pick up and drop. There was however an issue with one of the bathrooms in our villa which could've been handled better."

"Rukiya is a small scale Safari Camp in the Wild Rivers Nature Reserve close to Kruger NP. The staff is incredibly welcoming and helpfull, really trying to find an answer to all your questions and needs. I have a serious eating disorder what makes travelling complicated in full board schemes, but staff and kitchen did a tremendous job to provide adequate dishes for me. Because there was a small problem with the tent we were meant to stay, we got a free upgrade to the river house, a very comfortable and welcoming surprise. White Rivers itself isn't a big 5 reserve and therefore the sightings in this reserve can feel less rewarding. Morning game drives are done in the Balule Reserve, which is a beautiful Big 5 reserve. We saw rhino, elephant and buffalo, besides herds of antelope, zebra, hippo and so on, plus countless amazing birds."

"Excellent stay allround at a unique lodge. Cape Vulture Lodge combines conservation, education, personalised attention and luxury. We have just returned from a perfect stay there. The tent accommodation is peaceful, neat, stylish and welcoming. The Lodge is a haven away from the heat, complete with chess and books and it's the place where the most exquisite meals are served, as prepared by Valencia and her team. It is very clean. While we were the only guests on our side, we did not experience any noise, excepting the noise of the bush. The staff are always on hand to assist and advise. The hike and sunset drives up the cliff were magnificent. We are most grateful to Ntsako, Michael, Nntokozo, David and their wonderful colleagues."
