"We only stayed 2 nights, wish it had been longer! Ian was very welcoming and advised us where to eat. The room was very clean and nicely furnished. Location was really quiet, yet within easy reach of Rothbury on foot. There were good views over the town. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice, all freshly cooked."

Anglers Arms

"Tre nätters vistelse på The Anglers Arms, Weldon Bridge. Vi stannade på andra våningen i ett dubbelrum i suiten, vi använde Anglers som bas för att gå (St Oswalds Way) och besökte Alnwick och Almouth, vi gick också till Longframlington vid ett par tillfällen. Vi stannade B&B, frukost var bra, bra val på erbjudande, vi hade också två kvällsmåltider som var utmärkta.Särskild hänvisning till personalen, gav oss utmärkt gästfrihet under vår vistelse.Rekommendera definitivt The Anglers Arms."

"The room was clean and tidy with tea/coffee facilities Didn't stay for breakfast as they didnt start till 9am we had to leave for a journey had I known in advance the time of eating I wouldn't have booked here"

The Granby Inn

"Booked as a birthday treat for two nights. Only the twin room was available. Was expensive so thought we were in for something special, but the reality was an extremely tired looking room, with an ancient and mouldy shower, and a soap holder hanging down (how many times must the housekeeping staff have seen this yet not got maintenance to fix it)? Had an air of the staff having lost interest in the accommodation and guests ' experience . Owners need to give this room some serious attention. It was like going back in time and staying at granny's place, with the dated bedroom and neglected and scruffy bathroom. Food in the restaurant was good and we ate there both nights. Shame the standard of the dining experience didn't carry through to the accomodation."

Turks Head Rothbury

"Söt gem från en plats är matnöden mycket trevlig och så är personalen.Vi stannade i patiorummet och vi var mycket imponerade med det.Atmosfären på natten var mycket bra vi hade en mycket trevlig tid och hoppades komma tillbaka i juli 😁"
