"I had an amazing 13 days stay with Schwan Locke. It’s really a home away from home and everything that I need are within a few mins’ walk (I.e. REWE, DM, cafe, food etc.) And best of all, the Spring Festival was just 7mins walk away! The bathroom is big by European lodging standards and every room has a nice window view! The bed is cosy and comfy and the range of pillows is great. Will continue to recommend this lodging to all our colleagues when we have our business trips to Munich."

"Neighborhood is unfortunatelly terrible, not a safe one. Always there is a fight in the street. Bed is not comfortable also the pillows. Other than that general location (not street or neighborhood just pure location) is good, you are close to marieplatz e.t.c but as I mentioned I won't stay in that location anymore."

"Hotellbyggnaden är stor och relativt ny, med många rena och prydliga rum. Det är populärt, så det kan vara kö under rusningstid. Incheckning är endast möjlig från 15.00; du måste checka in en timme tidigare för 10 euro. Transporten är mycket bekväm, med en tunnelbanestation precis nere. Frukosten är hyfsad. Det finns inga engångs tofflor. Du måste ta med egen tandborste och tandkräm. Schampo och duschgel finns. Det lilla handfatet i badrummet är ganska intressant."

"A single room of around 7 square metres, with a shared shower and toilet for almost 100 euros is pretty cheeky in my opinion. But then everything else should be fine. But unfortunately that's not the case. A bed with a mattress on a board rather than a slatted frame, a TV with a whopping 8 channels, a receiver simply sitting on top and connected by a bizarre cable setup, and a metal locker as a closet didn't impress me. I also didn't find the ubiquitous no-smoking sticker with the threat of a 40-euro fine particularly appealing. I found the mouse that scurried past me at the reception desk very cute. Unfortunately, the staff don't speak German very well, which doesn't make communication any easier. In conclusion, all I can say is: Not again!!!"
