"Location was good, close to where I needed to be. Hotel was nice, no funky smells. I don't know whose bright idea it was to install rubber floor tile, but they missed the mark by a mile. And if it's NOT rubber, they are REALLY bad! Those type of floors NEED attention at LEAST once a week, if not more. My floor was sticky with God only knows what. I had knocked over a cup of water, and obviously, got a towel to wipe it up. The towel looked like I had wiped up the parking lot!! NASTY!! It had been quite a while since anyone hit it with a mop. Told them at the desk and got the usual glazed-over stare, TWICE! It IS 2024, maybe my expectations are too high? I would probably stay again, but in my travels there, I found 8 other motels that were just as close, if not closer to where I was going. Probably cheaper too. Oh yea, and any room on the south side of the building, bring ear plugs!! SUPER noisy, traffic starts about 0430."

"It was good place was clean but the cheap unhealthy so call breakfast I did not feeling it no one there to cook breakfast just some cheap muffins with a bounce of can't Read ingredients in them things people should not eat all all cheap orange with 0,%orange in it with a million of can't read ingredients the basically serving people some bioengineering crappy sweet crap with no nutrients that makes people sick please don't be so cheap wether you offer real breakfast or don't offer at all this is the type of crap that get people diabetes and get sick I type all these to say stop being so cheap this is not food that's why so many people are so sick and overweight that's crazy seriously"

"Older hotel, but updated and was overall ok. Beds super comfy. Shower had low pressure. Had constant issues with internet/WiFi and cable going out constantly. Very thin walls, could hear people next door coughing and upstairs walking around. Luggage rack was broken so has no where for suitcase Free breakfast was ok. Front desk staff was super friendly and welcoming."

"Room is real nice and clean.Conveniently going around shops, get back to highway. Jessica is super welcoming us at the check- in also pay attention on our requests.The man at the check out next morning is polite & bright attitudes person ( Forgot to look at his name) We stay a night (Aug 27th ) for Rainbow spring park also visit our family in the next town.Impress with service , bed is so comfy , smell of this place is real nice.Breakfast is great so we enjoyed it also many to choose from.Highly recommended for high quality service & price is decent.Will stay again definitely"

This Frame Vernacular Style Home was built in 1918. It is named for Emanuel Martin who was a partner in the Law Firm Martin and Hocker. His family were among the first settlers to Marion County in the 1840s.

This one bedroom apartment is on the first floor of the Martin Estate. The apartment is about 800 square feet contains its own entrance, kitchen with dining bar/living room area, bathroom, large bedroom, and a shared pool out back.

The kitchen features a bar to dine at, a refrigerator, bult in induction cooktop, coffee maker, toaster, air fryer, microwave, and essentials like salt/pepper, oil, tea, coffee, creamer, sugar, etc. We do include a welcome gift of pastries to get you started on your first morning.

The living room area features a futon (which can sleep one guest), an electric fireplace, along with a smart TV. The TV is a smart TV so bring along your login information for Hulu, Netflix, prime etc. If you don’t have a membership, each app offers free trials in addition to the other free apps on Roku and live TV tile on Roku.

The bathroom features a claw foot tub with a shower head, fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and towels. Note-it is a historic claw foot tub with shower head, you must be able to step in and out.

The large bedroom features a Queen sized bed with topper, smart TV, two closets, sound machine, ceiling fan, sitting area, decorative fireplace, a desk/workspace, along with an extra pillow and blanket. There is also a washer/dryer combo unit for your use along with an iron and ironing board.

The front deck features two rocking chairs and a table. The back deck/pool area is shared with a large pool, deck with outdoor dining table, gas grill, outdoor sun loungers, pool floats, and an outdoor gas firepit. There are two bikes available for use that are shared among the two suites. Parking is off street in the grassy driveway.

**We offer one of the most affordable rates for a one bedroom within walking distance to the downtown restaurants/bars, shops, and entertainment.

**There is no pet fee, no additional person fee, only a $60 cleaning fee. Guests are not asked to do laundry/cleaning etc. as housekeepers will take care of it upon check out. Each apartment is cleaned by professional housekeepers who are paid by the cleaning fee with no markup for the owner.

**We offer great discounts for weekly and monthly stays.

About 6 mn. drive to the downtown square of Ocala, close to grocery shopping, retail shopping, movie theater, restaurants, Silver Springs State Park. Less than 20 mn. drive to the World Equestrian Center. Check out the Saturday Farmers Market or dine at one of the delicious restaurants on the square! This apartment is the former carriage house of the famed Kemp Estate. The Kemp house, circa 1938, is a Tudor Revival home, built for T.J. Kemp an agent for the Sinclair Refining Company during the 1930s. This large residence is noteworthy for its brick detail and half-timbering. Originally a single-family residence, it eventually because a boarding house in the 50s and 60s-renting rooms weekly. Later it housed retail stores, a coffee shop, and The Blue Heron Gallery.

The two bedroom apartment is on the first floor of the Kemp Estate with the bathroom as an ensuite to the master bedroom. The apartment is about 750 square feet contains its own entrance, bathroom, bedrooms, living room/kitchen, and private deck.

The bathroom features a beautiful pebble tiled shower with a rain shower head, fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and towels.

The bedroom features a Queen sized bed, full sized closet, sound machine, iron and ironing board along with an extra pillow and blanket.

The second bedroom features a day bed with a trundle twin bed pullout, full closet, dresser, and desk.

The living room/kitchen features a dining bar, a full sized refrigerator, stove, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, dishwasher, and essentials like salt/pepper, oil, tea, coffee, creamer, sugar, etc. We do include a welcome gift of pastries to get you started on your first morning.

The TV is a smart TV so bring along your login information for Hulu, Netflix, prime etc. If you don’t have a membership, each app offers free trials in addition to the other free apps on Roku and live TV tile on Roku.

Edison Lights illuminate the front patio offering a gas grill, outdoor dining table, and outdoor furniture as well as a gas fire table. There is a secondary back deck with patio furniture and the shared laundry facilities. There is one reserved parking space provided. If another space is needed, please message me to make arrangements. There is a shared laundry room on property open 9am-9pm on a first come first served basis

The Morgan house is a frame vernacular style home built in 1892. The home is named for Mathew Morgan, who was the Ocala Police Chief from 1923 until 1928.

The suite contains it's own private entrance, living room, bathroom, dining room, full kitchen, stackable washer and dryer, bedroom, and a shared backyard area.

The bathroom features a tiled showed fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and towels.

The bedroom features a Queen sized four poster bed, armoire, antique vanity, sound machine, ceiling fan, Smart TV, along with an extra pillow and blanket.

The kitchen features a full sized refrigerator, stove, dishwasher coffee maker, toaster, microwave, and essentials like salt/pepper, oil, tea, coffee, creamer, sugar, etc. There is a dining table for four. There is a stackable washer and dryer in the dining room as well along with an iron and ironing board. We do include a welcome gift of pastries to get you started on your first morning.

The Living Room has a queen pull out sofa bed, two sitting chairs, a large smart TV, and an antique desk with a chair.
