"It was easy to look for it once we arrived in Palencia. Very quiet, if you're looking for a quiet place that would be recommended. Very close to the centre. The amenities were very good with some welcome drinks.. cafe and tea available in your room. Cleanliness is great.. complete with your needs for the bathroom. Super recomendable."

"Min vistelse på Hotel King Don Sancho de Palencia har varit mycket tillfredsställande. Personalbehandlingen har varit utmärkt, alltid vänlig och noga vid varje tidpunkt. Hotellet är rent, försiktigt och erbjuder en lugn, perfekt för vila. Dessutom, frukost på kaféet och erfarenheten var mycket bra, med en nära och professionell service. En annan punkt att framhäva är hans bra plats: det är mycket nära centrum och bredvid ett område med mycket vacker vegetation, perfekt för att gå och slappna av. Jag gick till sjukhuset för att ta hand om en familj."

"Don’t! Just don’t. The friendly enough receptionist didn’t give us the information we needed - WiFi, meal times, places in the hotel we could take our dog. The sole(?) barman/waiter was rude despite my reasonable Spanish. Whilst we didn’t eat there (as had read bad reviews) looking into the few people eating in the ultra bright, soulless restaurant confirmed our misgivings. Food from a nearby supermarket rescued supper whilst the next morning a superb cafe/restaurant a few miles away (Zurbaran, by a petrol station) saved the day."

"We warned them in advance that I was disabled and not very mobile following a recent surgery and we’d be arriving Saturday evening about 7.30pm after a 9-10 hour car journey. They gave us no warning that the hotel restaurant and bar were both closed and there was no room service. They then told us we could order from nearby restaurants but there were zero supporting menus in reception or in the room - so we had to call the restaurants who were reluctant to deliver. By now it was getting dark and my wife was very reluctant to try and search out food alone from nearby restaurants in case she was mugged. This is the first time I have ever struggled to source food or drinks from a €100 per night hotel. Frankly - if this is their standard of service they should be out of business as soon as possible."

"A cozy hotel on the outskirts of Guardo. We chose it almost as a last option to spend the December long weekend and it was a total success. The room was a good size, the bed was huge, everything was clean and well kept. The breakfast is a very complete buffet."
