"A bit disappointed with the hotel, especially the bathroom. It was covered in stains...it was really dirty. Luckily we were only there to sleep."

"This hotel deserves a 5 due to the excellent service, clean rooms, clean bedding and pillows. The food was also good, however lukewarm this could have been hotter. My only moan is at our check in which was after midnight we got presented with a ham and cheese curled up sandwich in cellophane and no drink , this does need looking at please!!!Of course this went in the bin. The life guards couldn’t do enough for you. The restaurant staff very attentive. Servadaline the outside pool bar waitress was fantastic, love her. Didn’t have to fight or save sunbeds The balcony tables and laundry rails have been ordered and on there way lol The gym and equipment needs to be updated asap * bars of soap in bathroom for handwashing please! Oh and to all those constant complaining people we had enough hangers in wardrobe Thank you guys for a lovely week Kath and Wendy Will definitely be going back"

"Jag hade mitt bröllop här och bokade en veckas vistelse.Jag besökte aldrig förrän det gick ut på recensioner och bilder!Majoriteten av min bröllopsbesättning stannade här och vi hade alla det bästa tillfället runt 37 av oss. Vi såg tre andra bröllop under vår vistelse.Moderna rena, stora cocktails, vackra utsikter och stranden.Jag hade en bakmassage, var så trevlig. Jag hade min makeup och hår gjort i salongen och var så nervös tidigare om det här som jag är mycket speciell, men de var fantastiska!De gjorde mina brudgummor och mammas hår och gjorde också. De vet vad de gör och makeup tog hela dagen även efter att ha gråtit lyckliga tårar mest av dagen.Tack till Ami och Martha.Vi hade vårt bröllop på havsutsikt däck, var vacker, fångar solnedgången också på kvällen. Court for Drinks var fantastisk för bilder.Vi hade BBQ-buffet och alla älskade det.Alla mina gäster kommenterade bröllopskakan om hur mycket de älskade det liksom min man.Kan inte rekommendera Felicity vår bröllopsplaner tillräckligt. Hon är briljant, vet vad hon gör, vår bröllopsdag gick så smidigt ingenting gick fel allt var väl organiserat, i tid och såg fantastiskt ut!Tack för att du gjorde detta till en minne av en livstid!"

"The worst nights attempted sleep I have ever had. The beds are like concrete slabbs. The facilities are lacking in almost every area. There are levels of basic and this is both lacking in comfort and practicality. The Apartments are spacious but extremely minamalist and dated. Shower facilities and toilet facilities very basic, loose toilet seat, narrow bath shower made for a very uncomfortable stay. They have the space to make this something special, but haven't. Would not stay again."

Windmills Hotel Apartments

"We stayed in Windmills in August 2012 for a week and were in Cyprus for a wedding. On arrival the front of the complex presented a pleasing aspect but by the time we met the reception staff we had begun to have reservations. When we got to our apartment we had become very disillusioned by the quality of the premises. The floor tiles were cracked in numerous places throughout the living room, bedroom and bathroom. The fabric on the 2 sofas were ripped and unrepaired in many places. There was a brown lump of something clinging to the bed room curtain. The hem of the curtain in the living area leading out to the small balcony was down and was very dirty. The shower head hung limply downwards and my partner had to rig up a makeshift repair in order for us to have a shower. The tiles in the shower had been replaced in one area with tiles which didn't match the rest, areas of the tiling were bowed outwards and the grout was in serious need of some deep cleaning. The seal of the fridge was damaged and the door handle was a badly done repair job. The bin lids were broken on both kitchen and bathroom bins. On the balcony there were obvious remnants of 3 old birds' nests which had been knocked off but not cleanly removed. The overall standard of the property was very run down and shabby. When we complained to the reception we were told all the apartments were the same standard! We asked to borrow an iron on four days running and were told there was one iron for the complex and it was out to someone who had not returned it, but they didn't know who had it! We had to buy an iron to ensure our outfits for the wedding were pressed. Good luck getting a sunbed by the pool as it is open to non-residents and was always fully subscribed by towels if not by actual people!! On the plus side the cleaner was a lovely and very hard working lady who provided extra cleaning and removed the suspect brown substance from the bedroom curtains immediately it was pointed out to her."

"We are currently here, and all I can say is make your own mind up regarding this hotel. Yes it’s dated, but it’s clean. The food is very good for all inclusive and there is plenty to choose from. Pool -Whilst we did not partake in sun bed wars there are a few people that do, when there was no need, as there are always beds available. However in the height of the season I can imagine it’s harder to get a bed and umbrella where you want to sit, but there is full sun where ever you sit. The main pool is busy and loud as this is where the children play and the entertainment is done. The pool by the apartments is a lot quieter. You can use floaties and there are life guards on duty whilst the pool is open Food - there is a lot to choose from. I’ve never eaten so much. The only thing I can say negatively is it can get cold quickly as there are no hot plates. Rooms - they are tired, but clean (which to me is more important). Facilities (that we have used) - pool towels are available and can be changed every 3 days, you can also take them to the beach. WiFi - is chargeable but you can get on to it in public areas for free Safe - this is chargeable depending on who you’ve booked with, and it is €2 a day. Location - this hotel is a fair walk to the strip, but doable, however you can get the bus and it is €2 each and €3 each after 9.00pm There are a couple of bars / restaurants nearby, a pharmacy and supermarket too. There is a small beach near and it is council owned. It cost €10 for 2 beds and an umbrella. The sea is like a mill pond, there are public toilets and a Costa behind you. All in all this hotel has exceeded my expectations due to the negative reviews I read before arriving. The way I see it if you want the Ritz then pay Ritz money."
