"Så vi stannade i Holiday Inn Preston i 1 natt så min recension kan bara vara kort eftersom vi inte stannade länge - men jag kommer att säga vad jag hittade. Rummen var ganska trevliga med tillräckligt med utrymme och hade te och kaffe och en tv - allt förväntat så inget speciellt och sängarna var mycket bekväma. Platsen var bra eftersom det var 15 munutes promenad från järnvägsstationen. Rumsservice var tillgänglig till 23.00 vilket var bra men vi provade ingenting. Vi beställde frukost för 20 pund extra och det var anständigt men inget speciellt - och jag har haft mycket bättre eftersom baconet inte var det bästa. Men det gjorde jobbet och hade mycket att erbjuda så det var bra och kommer inte att klaga. Detta var dubbla kostnaden för de flesta närliggande hotell så vi förväntade oss lite mer egentligen, men allt som allt en anständig vistelse och det var bra. Skulle komma igen"

"I can and do recommend this hotel. I stayed at the hotel for 17 nights. My room was on the ground floor and was very comfortable, there is not one thing that I can complain about. I got to know the staff, who were absolutely magnificent. They could have done nothing more to make me feel very welcome and at home. From the reception, bar, dining room, kitchen and housekeeping staff, they made me feel like I came home every evening when I got back to the hotel. They went out of their way for me. Thank you to Varun, Aniken, Jake, Vix and the rest of the staff. I can’t recommend Garner Samlesbury Hotel enough!!!"

"Excellent hotel in ideal location close to the University. The rooms were of a good standard with all the necessary amenities. Cleanliness was excellent in all parts of the hotel, Staff were welcoming. Good choice of food at breakfast. Would definitely stay again."

"Great hotel that is very conveniently located to the M6. Room was good, slightly dated but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good - very big spread and variety. Access to health club was a plus. Staff friendly and attentive."

"Very good location, next to the junction of M6 and M65, a prefect midpoint of driving from South to North. The hotel is large and full of space. The room is clean and big, and necessities are all equipped. Shampoo and body bath are Doves, and teabag is Twinning, which is quite unexpected for a roadside hotel. Breakfast is nice. It is beyond our expectations at this cheap price."

"Stayed at the Barton Manor hotel and spa with my daughter….we had a wonderful time….from arriving to leaving the staff can’t do enough for you…the breakfast is really nice…we did not book into the restaurant for evening meal, but I was told by other guests…that the restaurant food was delicious. We will definitely be going back ."
